Split down the middle, 50/50. If the husband insists, of course, and he has to offer the same compensation, and go first. Usually they pass.
Oh, shared . That’s an* r*.
Never mind.
eschereal the seriously twisted:
Your vagina is not your own, in Wisconsin, at least.

I thought they came pre-split?
I am so ashamed

This is exactly what they do, in both their verbiage and their actions. They do things that on the surface appear to be good intentioned and for noble goals when in fact it’s just the opposite. Voter ID laws are an example.
Another example is what has been done to the Post Office. The Post Office pension fund is required to maintain enough funds to be able to fund retirements for the next 75 years. This sounds very populist and pro-union, but it puts a major financial strain on them, which may be the intent. If the Post Office can’t handle it’s finances, well then let’s privatize!
If the Defense Department were made to fund its pension and benefits liabilities in the same manner S&P would downgrade US bonds to junk status.

I love this! Even when a GOP candidate gets to a non-stupid conclusion, it’s via stupidity and done stupidly.
Stating Rand Paul is unsuited to be CiC: Not stupid.
Stating Rand Paul is unsuited to be CiC because he’s starting to be a step towards honest about the USA’s responsibility vis a vis the formation of the Islamic State: Stupid.
Using official LA state letterhead for this purpose: Stupid.

Paul’s response smacked Jindal upside the head:
(from the Huffington Post)
Doug Stafford, Sen. Paul’s spokesman and senior adviser, responded to Jindal in a blistering statement Wednesday afternoon.
“It’s ironic Gov Jindal would level such a charge when he flip-flops on crucial issues like common core and national security , and he has cratered his own state’s economy and budget ,” Stafford said. “Just last week, Gov. Jindal spoke out in support of Sen. Paul and announced he now opposes the NSA’s illegal and unnecessary domestic bulk data collection, after previously cheerleading for it. As we have seen for the past few weeks, Senator Paul is the only Republican running it seems who is willing to learn from our mistakes in the Middle East in order to keep us safer and stronger. The American people are looking for a candidate who can express a coherent viewpoint, something Gov. Jindal and many other candidates have been unable to do thus far.”
Italics are mine. Oooooh, that’s going to leave a mark.
And the Republican self-immolation is well underway…
And as long as I am on a roll, Marco Rubio is trying to stake his claim to the Evangelic vote with these comments regarding gay marriage: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2015/05/26/rubio-christianity-faces-real-and-present-danger-in-gay-marriage-debate/
and
“After they are done going after individuals, the next step is to argue that the teachings of mainstream Christianity, the catechism of the Catholic Church, is hate speech,” he said. “That’s a real and present danger.”
Hoo Boy, the Silly Season just keeps getting longer and longer…
Wisconsin Republicans trying to break through the tape in the race to the bottom. A provision in the current budget package would take the state out of the business of teacher certification, leaving it up to the individual districts.
State Superintendent Tony Evers said in a recent interview on the television show “Here and Now” that the budget provision would essentially eliminate teacher licensing standards, putting Wisconsin below the teacher expectations of states with the lowest achievement levels in the country.
“It essentially takes the licensing system out of the state’s hands and puts it in 424 school districts’ hands,” Evers said. “If you’re a buddy of the superintendent or the principal, you go in and say, ‘Gosh, I want to teach here,’ he or she says yes, you’ve got a license.”
Because, I guess, it is much easier to bust teachers’ unions if you can just quietly slide in the scabs.

You mean your Bible doesn’t contain the passage “And Jesus said unto them, Bro, no homo”?

I wonder if it felt like this, watching the Roman Empire fall.
We Are Watchmen is a right-wing group that, according to their website, “is a movement that uses music and message to mobilize American Christians to civic duty”. Currently they thought it would be a great idea to write and record (and distribute) a song (Set It on Fire ) about how awesome Ted Cruz is and how he should be our next president. My favorite part is the part where the song calls out for people to go to war:
Who do these idiots think they are going to wage war against? Their fellow countrymen?
Here’s the article at VICE about this song .
I’m sure this will be a Top 40 hit; I can’t wait for the accompanying dance craze.
Uff, there goes my lunch. Hey, look at that, it looks just like Randy, lying there on the sidewalk.
