I was wondering about this. I have the impression that there’s a large overlap between those who don’t want armed federal troops in their state and those who want armed federal troops protecting recruitment centers.

Meh. While there’s been some Republican idiocy over Jade Helm, and while I’m pretty sure these guys aren’t Democrats, I don’t see anything about party activity by these guys. I say we give the Republicans a pass on this incident barring these guys having some kind of Republican cred.
