And useless when picking fights too.
Did you just learn a new word? I would stipulate that not all chordates are driven by curiosity to be particularly linguistically engaged.
Besides, Bristol isn’t showing a lack of intellectual curiosity, but an identification with her Anglo-Saxon social group, and perhaps with “goldbugs.”[sup]*[/sup] That is another use of language, perhaps unfortunately.
[sup]*[/sup] The name Mt. McKinley was given Denali by a gold standard advocate, apparently.
It’s genetic. The daughter of an ignorant twat is doomed to also be an ignorant twat.
The Anglo-Saxon heritage community resents such aspersions, and are likely to engage you in sharply critical discussion. Assuming, of course, that the preferred approach of crushing your skull with a crude axe is not available.
Manifestly untrue. Many an ignorant twat has evolved into a well educated bitch to spite her ignorant twat of a mother.
And don’t forget the other side of Alaska that can see Russia. We need a wall all around Alaska just to be sure.
Just make sure all the Palins are contained before the last brick goes into place.
It’s only a matter of time before someone suggests building a big dome all over the USA…you know, so we can all live under the dome!
The only more schadenfreude I could have enjoyed from this would have been if it were two guys.
They’re both married to other people. Good enough.
Wow, and they weren’t even the pair from Michigan.
I like how they keep calling the officer a “park ranger”, I guess because Republicans are supposed to show respect for the police, so calling him some other thing lets them belittle him.
Hey, it involved a health plan - probably had something to do with women’s health. Republicans love to do “research” by sticking things in women. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
Two married (not to each other) Danish MPs about a decade ago were found to be having an affair when one became ill and had to be rushed to the hospital. Their excuse was that they were “discussing constitutional matters”. In DK it now means having sex.
I still prefer “hiking the Appalachian Trail.”
“Mr. Harper, build up this wall!”
In the article, the county sheriff (who is supporting the citation) refers to him as a park ranger, so I’m guessing that is his title. And one quote from one of the charged individuals has her referring to “the officer” - so I’d say this is not a good gripe about Republicans.
That cop himself should be cited for disturbing the piece.
That link looked like a news story, all the way to the last paragraph.
The older I get, the more I see that the most “morally righteous” of Republicans are bible-thumping, family values, by-the-rules autocrats because they need it.
They’re completely corrupt, selfish, amoral people who only barely function in society because of constant fear of punishment for breaking rules.
