Stupid Republican idea of the day

No, it’s because the Pope is not following the Republican Party line in every case. I think it’s as simple as that. The Pope is disloyal.

Yes.

Interesting article on RW attacks on Pope Francis.

Lasseiz Faire: breaking down the barriers between religions with a sock-full of profits.

For a long time, I’ve tried to rank the motivations for these GOP assholes and for a long time, I’ve thought that Religion was right at the top. But seeing how these guys are behaving towards the fucking Pope, I have to adjust my list and think that maybe money and hatred of liberals are higher. Much much higher apparently.

Not the right religion. Jesus was a Protestant. Probably Southern Baptist. With a conservative interpretation.

At least he was a white guy who spoke English.

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson says that [del]Islam[/del] [del] Judaism [/del] [del] Catholicism [/del] [del] being a Woman [/del] [del] being Black[/del] [del]being of Mexican heritage [/del] is antithetical to the Constitution, and he doesn’t believe that a [del] Muslim[/del] one of the above should be elected president.

Just a word or phrase substitution. I believe Jews, Catholics, women, blacks, hispanics are very capable of seeing through the sham setup of of moslems as the fall guys for “what’s wrong with America”. It’s been in the political playbook for thousands of years. The current crop of phony Republicans is a virulent example of the ilk. Disgusting and reprehensible.

You could also substitute “Ben Carson” with any of the other [del]fifteen[/del] [del] fourteen [/del] thirteen candidates. Some props to Graham though.

There thou goest again!

Ah, Supply Side Jesus.

For that matter, props to Cruz. Words I never expected to say.

Huh! Al Franken. Son-of-a-gun!

If Bobby Jindal were president, he would “fire” all 535 members of the House and Senate.

Seems legit and constitutional-like.

Obama needs to get this memo: he can just fire congressmen and senators he doesn’t like. He’s a constitutional lawyer! Why didn’t he think of this before?!?

They seem to get a spasm of insanity just before they drop out. My guess is Jindal is the next to fade into insignificance. No longer a governor, no longer a candidate. Perry, Walker, Jindal?

It appears Republicans are not impressed with governors.

It appears Republicans are not impressed with sentience.

Rep. Steve King thinks the Pope should talk about abortion and gay marriage, not climate change and income inequity.

Do as you’re told, Francisco, like a good Hispanic.

I bet the pope is very concerned that he might not be able to immigrate to the USA.

Too late. He’s already here.
