Well this one makes sense. You wouldn’t want all those botchlingsrunning around, would you?
Rick Santorum says that, as President, he will enforce the Defense of Marriage Act. Even though the Supreme Court has declared it unconstitutional.
Obama must be a terrorist, I guess.
Since Texas Republican leaders announced they were kicking Planned Parenthood out of Medicare (after they also swallowed the fake videos) it does not take a genius to expect that Republicans are once again behind this idiocy:
Ok, I have to say it, the Texas Republicans do not care if their policies will kill people.
That article sounds like something out of a Vonnegut novel. Band frontman Jesse Hughes is a Christian preacher who threatens violence against anyone who opposes the right to bear arms, believes Obama is a foreign-born Muslim, extols the virtues of stimulants including cocaine, and poses nude with his girlfriend, a former porn actress. We’ve finally slipped into the realm of the Rev. Dr. Lionel Jones, Fr. Keeley, and the Black Fuehrer.
Obama a terrorist. You’re shocked? I live in Kentucky. I’ve heard about his terrorist past since the first inauguration.
Well, shit, if the death metal bands have turned against Obama, we might as well just give it up, get on the Romney bandwagon while there’s still room.
Dave Mustaine (whose political views are nearly as out there as this EDF guy’s) endorsed Romney last time around. I gather most bands are pretty firmly in the (D) camp though.
Texas state rep. says go ahead and take all you want from your wife, since there ain’t no such thing as marital rape:
This is simply another conservative acting, or worse, actually too stupid to know the difference between the arguments.
Republicans think more guns means safety. You can defend yourself from anyone with a gun, whether you’re in church, a movie theater, or in the streets. They don’t want restrictions on guns because anyone might be a good guy. So if they don’t want guns in the VA capitol, they are hypocrites.
Democrats know that guns can be used for good or ill. Gun control is a way to ensure good people, qualified and trained ones, have guns, and not bad guys. Security forces for someone like the governor qualify as a gun that is useful in the hands of someone qualified. No hypocrisy at all.
And besides, the issue with VA no longer recognizing gun laws from 25 states is because those states have more lax laws than Virginia. Are these GOP idiots trying to say that VA should have its right to determine its own laws usurped by these other states? Shouldn’t a state only accept a concealed carry from a state whose laws are at least as tough as its own? Washington has lax marijuana laws, how about they force all these stuck up conservative southern states to allow pot use and sale in their states? How about liberal California force Alabama to use our laws on gay adoption? Hey lance, what other New York laws do you think they should force onto Kentucky?
But liberty!
The Donald apparently thinks that all of his supporters are multi-billionaires, because he says if Bernie becomes President, he will tax all of them at 90%, and they won’t be able to play golf any more.
“Mr. Trump, after you win the Presidency, will I be able to play golf?”
“You sure will.”
“That’s awesome! Because I wasn’t able to before.”
Have words? You can buy words now?
When Trump has a word, it means exactly what he wants it to say. He’s like Humpty Dumpty in that.
Yes. Cite.
Huh, I thought you could just buy vowels.
This deregulation nonsense is out of control. Soon the oligarchs will control language itself!
