Stupid Republican idea of the day

This is from 2014. I thought it sounded familiar.

2nd prize is two shotguns with the Cruz logo engraved on the stock.

Time to flood his lottery with entries of names of convicted shooters.

And if you win but are disqualified because of your background/record, you still get a signed copy of his book.

If the prize is the shotgun that “Big Dick” Cheney used to shoot an old Texas lawyer in the face, I’d have to give it some thought.

You see, the Democrats want to take your guns away. Ted Cruz wants you to have more. It’s a clear choice.

Now Ohio Republicans want mandatory burials for aborted or miscarried fetuses.

Peter King wants 24/7 surveillance of mosques. And civil libertarians and constitutionalsts “can cry all they want.”

Pay for it with tax cuts.

Stick a rider on the bill calling for 24/7 surveillance of Peter King.

Does this mean we have moved past the stage where it is required that each bill moving through Congress includes a clause citing the specific constitutional authority upon which the bill is justified? Or, if not, I wonder what clause he will use.

Funny…I don’t recall him ever sponsoring a bill requiring 24/7 surveillance of all Irish pubs to prevent people (like HIM) from collecting money for the IRA…

“Provide for the common defence” would cover it if pressed.

How long do you suppose it will be until these 'pubs demand burials or cremations for used feminine hygiene products?

Or maybe insist that uteruses be fitted with hundreds of tiny headstones.

Or sweat socks, for that matter.

Your sweat socks, maybe…

Oh yes, I remember that nutter. And even if he’s talking about the real medical phenomenon of lithopedia, that is pretty rare.

Where on earth do these guys get their concepts of female anatomy, anyway?

Hey, that money was for the Widows & Orphans…

Yes, to make more of them.
