I think Prince George’s County, Maryland is pretty similar. Not next door Montgomery County, though.
Oh my…
Glenn Beck makes his endorsement: http://money.cnn.com/2016/01/23/media/glenn-beck-ted-cruz-president/index.html
And this:
Any ground shaking in Northern Virginia due to ol’George spinning in his grave…is Obama’s fault, of course…
And look at all the flack I get in GD for saying prayer doesn’t work.
ETA: to be fair, Cruz’s views on slavery are probably compatible with Washington’s.
Except, I suspect, how to treat them.
Are you high right now?
Hey look: adaher is wrong again!
Well, if “a new George Washington” is someone to plunge a great empire into internal war, cut off a sizeable chunk of its territory, and send a third of the population of that chunk into exile, all for the sake of his own speculative investments, yeah, Ted Cruz probably could be that guy. The question is, is there a corollary to the Kingdom of France to back him?
I’m beginning to come over to the side of those who say that Trump is pulling our collective legs after all:
“I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and wouldn’t lose any voters, ok? It’s, like, incredible.”
Yeah, no doubt. If you hear that statement and still remain a Trump fan, you are beyond moronic.
Paging Starving Artist…
Posted a reply on some news site about that guy refused service in the military because of his confederate flag tattoo.
Wow, what a load of derp I got in replies. “Bigot” (cute, but you don’t know what that means), and this morning “Democrats were big on Treason until their God was elected”.
WTF does that even mean? All I can figure is that this was one of the people who considered it treason to criticize Bush, but once a Black Muslim Atheist Fascist Islamicist Socialist Communist Usurper got elected, the rules changed.
You forgot Kenyan
There’s a part of me that almost expects that Trump will win the nomination, and instead of accepting it, will lambaste the Repubican base for voting for such an obvious racist caricature, then endorse the Democratic candidate.
Then he pulls off a rubber mask, revealing that he’s really been Andy Kaufman all along.
I can get behind this, though I think it would be better if pulling off the rubber mask revealed a gorilla mask, and pulling that off revealed Patrick McGoohan.
Cruz continues to lie like a rug:
Looks like the Flint water crisis was not caused by trying to find a cheaper provider. It may in fact, have been caused by the Governor wanting to starve the original water provider’s customer base so he could sell the company off.
It’s masks all the way down.
until you hit the turtles
They do believe in personal responsibility. They believe Obama is personally responsible for everything bad that they do.
Once again Kansas, a state that has railed against Sharia law, takes one more step closer to implementing it in full except with “Allah” crossed out and “Jesus” written in instead. Roll out the burqas…
It always amazes me that they don’t see the parallels between Sharia law and their own God’s law. Ted Cruz recently said he was a Christian first, and an American second. If a Muslim said that he was a Muslim first and an American second, he would be excoriated as a potential terrorist.
Tennessee state House Majority Whip resigns his position after being outed for sexual harrassment. Though he isn’t going to leave the legislature.
