To be honest, if Obama was clever enough to get Congress to pass a bill that would give him his own private army, I’d be mightily impressed. It’d make a change from his current tendency to avoid confrontation.

Yeah, Huckabee’s the one who scares me a little. He’s just as lunatic as the rest of them, but he has this chuckling uncle kind of facade that’s a little charming, even for someone as left as me. The “gunpoint” thing was clearly a joke…well, a “joke”…but the endorsement of Barton is still worrying.
Honestly, can you imagine a guy with a name like Louie Gohmert not being an idiot? The name sounds like a bad cliche.
He clearly didn’t mean he literally wanted everyone in America held at gunpoint, but he sincerely meant that he wishes everyone in America would be forced (he even emphasized ‘forced’ twice) to be indoctrinated with that loon’s revisionist history. And a man who sincerely believes this would be a better nation if everyone believed the way he does, particularly when that belief is wrong is frightening and dangerous to have anywhere near the White House with anything more than a dinner invitation.
