Fits the traditional definition of chutzpah: “Killing both your parents, then throwing yourself on the mercy of the court as an orphan.”
He’s going to review the public record of his slanted reporting and biased interpretations, and publicly apologize.
Me? Tequila and bongwater, why do you ask?
LOL – I remember when the Republicans came up with that “America Speaking Out” idea. For the 99.9% of you who don’t remember that, it was a website created as a public forum to transmit the Voice of the People to Congress and encourage them to act upon their constituent’s ideas (at least, those ideas that fit the existing party agenda).
The site quickly became Troll Central, including this gem:
(Shock-site link broken. If you want to cut and paste it into your browser, don’t come running to me when your eyeballs bleed.)
Host? He’s not going as the “BEFORE” exhibit?
Opened the link, and the only thing that sprung to my mind was “Dear God, if there ever was a face in dire need of a punch”. Seriously, that photo of him just oozes petty smugness. I find myself getting angry at the guy just looking at it, and I have only the vaguest idea of who he is. It’s uncanny.
Sure you can! Fox News is dedicated to that very proposition.
Good thing the Republicans are making sure that the Responders who fell sick after helping out during 9/11 are not actually secret terrorists.
Way to go Rep. Stearns (R)! That will show those secret terrorist police and firefighters! I’m sure the FBI will be exposing these secret terrorist in great numbers soon, and this will show that this is not a massive waste of federal money.
He’s basically Rush Limbaugh’s dumber, nastier brother.

Wow, I guess we have forgotten by now that Fox News was created to counteract the horrible horrible media bias, against Roger Ailes’s pet theories & general fringe crankery, that God-fearing right-wing cranks suffered from until Fox News came along. We had to get our paranoid conspiracy theories from television preachers, an almost underground alternative political press, and Christian bookstores!
It was widely perceived as the road to samizdat, except for the incredibly liberal commitment to freedom of the press. Those sneaky tolerant liberals, mocking the right-wing by tolerating alternative worldviews liberally! That’s how they trick ya!
In other words, Hannity is simply restating Fox News’s reason for existence.
Also, if he’s the radio personality I remember from 2008, possibly subtly reminding us to stand against the bias of the dominant liberal media culture that blacks & Muslims are somehow not evil apish monsters.
Some day soon Christians will be able to meet and worship in the open, no longer relegated to the storm cellars and sewer mains that they have have to use for their services today!
So that’s where they’re hiding! Thanks for the tip, Boyo!
My dad used to pour boiling water down on ant hills. Just sayin’…
I liked it when the Republican got arrested for the very thing he denounced again.
The lawmaker drew fire in February after saying, in reference to the state General Assembly, “I suppose if you’re a gay man from Guatemala who gambles and smokes pot, you probably think that we’re onto some good ideas here.”
Given the issues that anti-homosexual rights Repubs tend to have with their sexualities, the only thing left to ask is to see Rep. Watson’s birth certificate.
Here’s a two-fer.
Pat Robertson thinks women have abortions so they can be more like lesbians who “can’t have children.” Cite.
Alan West thinks liberal women are neutering men. So what did he do? He ran to the Women Impacting the Nation (WIN), a conservative WOMEN’s organization, and whined for their (WOMEN’s) help to fight against Planned Parenthood. Cite. Guess he was feeling particularly neutered that day.

This is very confusing. He wants women to strengthen up the men, and tell the man neutering women about it, so the men can go fight (someone as yet unspecified) for the women, because if the man neutering women have their way, then men will become subservient which will raise the debt (in some as yet unspecified way). Do I have that right?
Rise up women! Fight for your right to be the weaker sex!

Lord these men are ignorant pricks.
Here’s another one:
‘Don’t say gay’ bill clears Senate panel
*"NASHVILLE - After some convoluted maneuvers, a Senate committee Wednesday approved a bill that will prohibit teachers from discussing homosexuality in kindergarten through eighth-grade classrooms.
The measure (SB49) is sponsored by Sen. Stacey Campfield, R-Knoxville, who unsuccessfully pushed the same idea - nicknamed the “don’t say gay” bill - for six years as a member of the state House before he was elected to the Senate.
As introduced, the bill would have put into law a declaration that it is illegal to discuss any sexual behavior other than heterosexuality prior to the ninth grade."*

Thus scrapping all the How To Be A Homo curricula second grade teachers were preparing. And another generation is saved from The Gay.
It’s so sad and pathetic that these are the issues Republicans want Americans to focus on. It’s a despicable sleight of hand. Look! Over here! Queers and Hos are doing nasty things!
While over here we’re stripping workers’ rights, writing laws that let us take over entire cities and sell their assets to our crony friends, eliminating Medicare for seniors, being bought and paid for by the wealthiest elite so we’ll lower their taxes to near zero while we laugh all the way to the bank, and cutting and gutting needed government services to the poor, who we’re only creating more and more of by fighting to eliminate the minimum wage and sending all their former jobs overseas.
But LOOK! Queers and Hos!
What if Sharia Law also prohibited the discussion of homosexuality? Would you be enforcing Sharia Law by complying with this statute?
Que horror!
