Stupid Republican idea of the day

A fluke?

Ken Starr has been removed as president of Baylor University. An investigation by the board of regents determined that university officials mishandled numerous reports of women being sexually assaulted by members of the football team. According to the investigation, the administration failed to take appropriate action on the reports, even discouraging women from filing reports in some cases.

Starr will stay on as Chancellor and as a law professor.

The Republican Party Establishment is trying its latest damage-control tactic, floating the idea that Trump’s craziness will be Etch-a-Sketched down the memory hole now that he’s clinched the nomination:

Yeah, sure, good luck with that.

That’s Ken Starr. Showing indifference to sexual misconduct. The Ken “Blowjobgate” Starr.

I just like the way the investigation turns the tables on Ken Starr.

Probably seduced by the sophisticated, ultra-hip atmosphere of Waco, Texas.

Old joke:

How do you pick up women in Waco, Texas?

For stupid idea:

Senator Orrin Hatch says that his meeting with Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland didn’t leave Hatch impressed with Garland’s qualifications for the vacancy.

Trouble is, he hadn’t actually MET with Garland at the time that comment was made.

Republican US Civil Rights Commissioner testified before Congress that transgender children are like little girls who want to be Russian princesses.

Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren called her a bigot.

With a forklift?

Well, the M-to-Fs are like little girls, at least.

Garbage truck.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton explains transgenderism:

I KNEW that would be Waukesha County. That clerk has been a wack job before.

His opinions shouldn’t necessarily be rejected out of hand. Paxton is actually a scholar on transgenderism.

At least, that’s how he explained the porn on his work computer.

Orrin Hatch said he met with Merrick Garland and was not impressed. Funny enough, he actually hadn’t met with him.

The right is shocked, SHOCKED that Obama’s new out-of-the-White House home is only 1096 feet from a mosque!

That looks like a parody site, not a real right-wing opinion site.

But…damn, it’s hard to tell some days!

Or, as it’s more commonly known, “nearly a quarter of a mile”.

And FFS, the DC Islamic Center has been in Kalorama since 1957. That other notorious secret Muslim Donald Rumsfeld used to live there too..

The Daily Caller is not a parody site.

It was founded by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel.

Wonkette isn’t parody.
