Once upon a time John McCain used to inhabit planet Earth. These days, not so much.
I should hope not! You get inside information like that, you don’t share it with just anybody! Knowledge is power!
If he plays his cards right, this could be just the break the McCain campaign has been waiting for…
At the current Republican Leadership Conference (straw poll won by Ron Paul, Hunstman in 2nd), the organizers hired an Obama impersonator to poke some fun at the President.
From a CNN article:
“Brown made a series of jokes at the president’s expense, at one point showing a picture of the main characters from the 1970s television show ‘Sanford and Son’ to illustrate what Obama and the First Lady would look like after leaving office.”
The really stupid idea part (also from the article): “After Brown began to make jokes at the expense of some Republicans, including House Speaker John Boehner and some of the GOP presidential hopefuls, he was pulled off stage by RLC organizers, who said the performance had gone too far and was getting inappropriate.”
McCain is Zombie Joe McCarthy! I knew it!
Cripes, GOPers don’t even bother to hide their racism any more…
Hey, what do you know, you *can *teach an old dog new tricks ! They evidently learned a thing or two from the Correspondent Dinner Colbert debacle.
They were the wrong things to learn, but come on, cut 'em some slack. They’re new to this changey thing.
Rick Santorum is a genius! There is no such thing as global warming yet the Earth warms and cools and there is a trace gas involved, but humans don’t contribute that trace gas…wait, what???
During an interview with Glenn Beck, Beck asks Santorum, “So, what about global warming?” Rick’s lucid reply:
[QUOTE=Rick Santorum]
There is no such thing…as global warming. It is… In my opinion, you have hundreds of factors that cause the Earth to warm and cool and a trace gas of which…human participation in this trace gas is… is… [Beck saves him from continuing his unscientific explanation, er opinion]

On HBO’s *Real Time * last Friday, Bill Maher had Brown on to do the part of the routine that the Republicans didn’t let him finish. It relatively tame, but pretty good. The Pubbies just can’t take a joke.
Ideologues rarely can.
Sure they can take a joke! Look who they have running for President!
No, that’s playing a joke. Plenty of people can play a joke, but still can’t take a joke.
Hey! Whatever happened to the ‘stupid democrat’ thread? Not enough material?
Well, Obama IS still black. So there’s always that.
-Joe
He thinks people are lighting fires to “keep warm” ?!? In ARIZONA ?!? In the middle of the freaking SUMMER ?!?!
- head explodes, again *
Once again A Republican ignores intellectual property rights for their own benifit.
If you’re going to pretend your all about personal responsibility and property rights don’t you think you should at least ask if you can use other peoples stuff?
The higher altitude parts of Arizona get cold enough at night that people might want a fire. The Flagstaff forecast this week is for 50 degree lows which might be uncomfortable for some people. Still I don’t suppose illegal immigrants are any more likely to build a fire than your average garden variety tourist.
Sure they are. They are burning the corpses of Americans after beheading them.
Ah - terrorist fires. I wonder if their Koran Bibles teach them how to do that.
Random tid bit.
My cousin is an intern at the Republican half of the statehouse. She got in trouble for viewing msnbc.com during lunch. She was informed that they only watched Fox News.
I didn’t realize the jokes were that true.
Worse. Spanish Koran Bibles.
Thank God there are no stupid Democrat ideas of the day. This thread is enough to keep liberals engaged forever beating a dead horse.
