Stupid Republican idea of the day

I’ve read that since the stroke, he’s been more off the cuff and speaking with less of a filter. Which is sad for him, but then somebody should tell him he is unfit to be a senator then and drop out. The GOP pretends like Clinton getting pneumonia is a big deal and makes her weak, meanwhile they have a Congressman who may say racist things and insult people and possibly other countries because he’s sick. Only one of these two deserves to be out of government

Hey, hey, hey! They have plenty of Republicans who say racist and insulting things without being sick. Just look at their Presidential nominee.

I don’t remember, did Jar-jar Binks give the nomination speech?

just the one ?

Prefrontal strokes have effects on personality, judgement, mood, cognition, etc. It is quite possible for a stroke to change a sweetnatured grandpa into a querulous paranoid bigot. It happened to my grandfather. My grandmother’s many small strokes led to a ever-evolving display of personality changes.

Allan West claimed today that he lost his last reelection bid due to proven voter fraud, even though even pro-voter fraud-supporters have proven it wasn’t the case.

This does seem to be the Republican playbook of late;

Spew the most outrageous lies, and never, never back down. Don’t settle for a small lie - go big. Really Big. Just claim stuff that never, ever happened. Do it over and over and over again until public fatigue sets in, and others are simply too tired to refute you anymore.

Pro voter fraud supporters…?

I have known a few people who had fairly radical personality changes after strokes.

This is a thing. Where have you been?

Maybe I’m just not parsing the phrase correctly…?

Supporters of the idea that there really is voter fraud.

Here, this is something I saw from Tammy Duckworth, posted in the comments section of that article.

Can we please have her as a Senator?

[/QUOTE] She's a bitch! I like that in a politician. My only regret is that I could only vote for her once, even though this is Illinois. I am sorry that her potential congressional replacement is named Raja Krishnamurti because this district is barely blue. But my girl Tammy beat the OTHER Joe Walsh last time. (The real Joe disavowed any similarity last time, a rare case of Cleveland and suburban Chicago coming together.)

The Governor of Georgia, upset about NAACP leaders opposing his education plan, said, “If you want to advance the state of colored people, start with their children.”

He’s just mad he can’t hang them for being “uppity” anymore.

There’ve actually been news reports of attempted at the polls voter fraud this year.

They’re Trump supporters.

If Trump gets into office and his supporters get their way, that could change real fast. :frowning:

Life’s been bad to him so far…

Ordinarily indictable. Charges quashed on the grounds of political correctness, defendant released with the thanks of a grateful nation.

Didn’t he actually tell them to vote twice, just in case their first one didn’t count?
