Stupid Republican idea of the day

This is the same shit-stain who tweeted that Obama was the same as Hitler.

That was apparently OK behavior though. Rep. Weber is a hypocritical asshole.

Trying to muzzle the press is always a good idea. If being disrespectful to the president is grounds for dismissal, Fox would consist of an empty desk and muzak.

In a perfect world…

To pour a bit more salt on the wound, he shut down the CNN guy to give respectful attention to Blightbart. But, of course.

Steve King introduced a bill to make it illegal to have an abortion after a fetus’s heartbeat can be heard. Before many women even know they’re pregnant.

Cruz and Graham team up to introduce a bill to defund the UN.

I found articles about this subject all over the place (largely on conservative “news” websites), but I couldn’t find a single mainstream media article on it.

Campus Republicans at UC Davis decided it would be a great idea to invite Milo Yiannopoulis and Martin Shkreli to speak on campus. It had to be stopped after protests got out of hand, but they claim they will try again tomorrow.

I can understand why the idiots would invite Milo Y to speak, he’s a political douchebag. But why would they invite Shkreli? He’s just a run of the mill douchebag.

Doesn’t he embody the Republican ideal of Profit Before Morality?

Aren’t they the same person?

Edit: Oh, wait, no, of course not. Oddly, I’m not sure I had ever seen a photo of Yiannopoulos. Maybe I just mentally filled in Shkreli’s face whenever I heard him mentioned. Isn’t that odd?

Sounds like someone really really wanted a protest to complain about.

I thought the Republican ideal was “Morality? What’s that?”

It’s something they heard was in The Bible.

Yeah - it’s fundamentally just trolling. (And Milo Y is a troll, too - the fact that he has developed a theory & praxis of trolling doesn’t really make him that much more sophisticated than Shkreli. Millipedes and earthworms - they both live under rocks.)

A recent example: Rex Tillerson, Christian and literal Boy Scout, leans heavily on a dubious “I can’t recall” during his confirmation hearings. http://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/hearings/card/1484153838

They are like Vizzini, we are like Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. (In reference to Falwell’s Coalition of Neither, which was instrumental in getting us to where we are.)

I have, and you don’t wanna. Trust me on this.

I do have to laugh at all of the right wingers who defend Milo Y. I can only imagine them running away screaming if they ever find out he’s gay.

Gay? Don’t ask, don’t tell. They don’t ask if he’s gay, and their “news” sources don’t tell them.

He’s useful for friend arguments. And also to claim people are anti-gay when they criticize him.

“Gayer than five guys fucking eight guys.”
