Stupid Republican idea of the day

It feels like Alex Jones is actually running a study, to determine how bat-shit crazy you have to be to lose supporters.

Pizza gate guy is gonna need to get ahold of Elon Musk if he wants to save those children.

Would a parent have the legal right to indenture their children for such a patriotic endeavor? Would there be some sort of compensation involved? Asking for a friend. Also, is there an age limit?

Yes, of course.

Being a patriot is it’s own reward.

Podesta, Weiner, Soros and Clinton will personally inspect each one. The great thing about mars is that they will age half as quickly than on Earth.

Dammit, I was trying to think of something funny like this all day!

Nicely done!

Sounds plausible. Alt right knuckleheads can believe the science behind climate change: phooey, it isn’t possible. The science behind child slaves on mars: oh yeah, that’s possible, NASA, they can do it.

I need help with this one.Bad-hair-guy

Why Chicago? Is it worse than other cities? I found a 2016 list of the 100 most violent cities in America: one suburb of Chicago (but not the Chicago itself) appears at #44.

Seems like a great deal of the rest of country needs more help. I mean, that one black guy does not even live there right now. Why Chicago?

Update:
Governor Rauner item-vetoed the provisions of the measure permitting shutdown of landline services as well as the 9-1-1 surcharge increases before signing the funding measure into law. There will be no shut down of 9-1-1 services.

IMHO Gov Rauner did the right thing. And the idiots in the Democratic controlled state legislature should not have tried to shove through funding increases in excess of what had been requested by the state’s advisory board. Their effort reminded me of Congress forcing through funding for military systems that the Pentagon says they do not want.

The linked story also notes that Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel had hoped to divert revenue from the 9-1-1 surcharge to fund pension obligations. He was hoping for a tax increase in disguise.

Gov Rauner acted by item-vetoing the funding bill that was before him to meet tonight’s deadline. Last night the General Assembly had been working on a clean funding bill which Gov Rauner asked for earlier this week.

Chicago supposedly has more illegal guns than anywhere else so the ATF is stepping in to help stem the tide.

Chicago is run by a Democrat who is a friend of the Clintons.

Trump’s voter suppression committee is headed by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach. Kobach has asked all of the states to send him detailed information about all registered voters in the country. As Secretary of State of Kansas, Kobach is denying his own request.

And President Obama calls Chicago home.
Hillary Clinton is from here.
And Trump gets a royally shitty reception on the few occasions he is dumb enough to come here.
He hates Chicago. Good.

Then perhaps Trump should go there to make any sort of major announcements about it.

Shades of Altamont. I guess hiring off-duty police officers wasn’t intimidating enough.

I look forward to seeing him and his local party sued into oblivion at the first incident.

Unfortunately, it will no doubt involve someone’s death or permanent injury.

The traceable ones of which come from right next door in Indiana, where they couldn’t be easier to get.

Build a wall.

There is a lake right there. They would just start using boats.

That’s fine. Every gun owner I have ever heard of that went boating lost their guns in a boating accident.

Out of morbid curiosity I googled “Alex Jones claims NASA is running a colony - alt right messageboards” to see if there were actually any peabrains out there somehow trying to cheerlead this cause. There was a google entry from Infowars but my unfamiliarity with the strange set up of their messageboards made it difficult to navigate to anything about NASA and interstellar child slaves. So even the alt right folks are like “I’m not going anywhere near this”, then?

How can even then most inbred, dumb-as-a-post bubble-dweller swallow this?

Interplanetary, not interstellar. “Interstellar” would just be silly.
