Oh, no! it’s Devo?.

Great. Now I’ve gotta binge Futurama. Thanks!

No, really. Thanks!

She appears to be laboring under the mistaken impression that the Grammys are music awards.

Congressman Paul Gosar calls on Capitol Police to arrest any Dreamers that members of Congress bring to the State of the Uniom address.

Arrest? On what charges?

Unlawful presence in the United States?

From the link:

Since upwards of 75% of Republicans support DACA, I have to wonder which Nazi/Skinhead/Klan group Gosar’s pandering to. Loved Flake’s response: “This is why we can’t have nice things.”

You can’t make this stuff up.

Truly representative of their base, spelling errors and all.

Only problem with that is Dreamers currently have protected status, though the clock is ticking down on that. They are not (yet) subject to deportation. Hence, stupid idea.

True, but according to the story, it is “illegal aliens” and not Dreamers that are to be arrested.

Well, then it is good that no one was inviting in illegal aliens. Some Dems said they would inviting Dreamers, who are undocumented immigrants with a protected status. So I wonder what Rep. Gosar was railing at? Maybe this is a clue:

It certainly couldn’t be because Rep. Gosar would conflate the difference between an illegal immigrant subject to deportation and an undocumented immigrant not subject to deportation and, as of this time, permitted to be in the USA, could it?

They aren’t subject to deportation, but under existing law there’s no reason they couldn’t be detained. It’s still a stupid idea.

Nope, definitely not that.

More likely that he honestly sees no difference.

Sounds to me like just grandstanding for his voters.

Hilarious!
