Stupid Republican idea of the day

He was fine with it until it affected him. Be interesting to find out if he’s ever challenged someone else on that basis.

Fox News guest says it’s not the job of journalists to point out when politicians are lying.

I like his phrasing ‘present the facts’…as though ‘this is not actually true’ is not a fact.

They’re incomprehensible.

Joe Arpaio, campaigning for US Senator from Arizona, wants to create a tent concentration camp at the border to house illegal immigrants:

Is he going to pass the law establishing that camp all by his lonesome?

So, labor camp, or extermination camp?

They’ll want a big “El trabajo te libera” sign out front, of course.

Wait until he finds out a Senator doesn’t have arrest powers.

Also, I thought he was one of those “The Sheriff is the highest ranked law enforcement officer in the country” idiots.

All I can find is that “voters in the District” brought the initial suit, but Lamborn’s rival did try to intervene because he thought the Colorado SoS wasn’t being vigorous enough in defending CO law. He got denied.

And as senator, he’ll be the final arbeiter of the slogan.

And it’s all too easy to picture him being photographed with the sign, smiling proudly…

Republican Congress members actually considered a constitutional amendment to place term limits on Congressional staffers.

Mike Huckabee, Saturday morning:
“If you lack sense of humor, get “offended” by slights you create, or just can’t bring yourself to tolerate those you disagree with the DO NOT watch my show 2nite! You will be triggered and will need a pony, popsicle, and Playdough to cope!”

Mike Huckabee, Sunday morning:
“The WHCD was supposed to celebrate the 1st Amendment. Instead they celebrated bullying, vulgarity, and hate. They got all dressed up so they would look nicer when they had a hired gun savagely attack their guests. Do they really wonder why America has no respect for them? Sad!”

Sadly, that’s actually better than what a lot of people say about the illegal immigration problem. It actually sounds like he’s moderated his position.

Somewhere, there’s a law against this. Has to be at least one.

There is. It is something about an injunction against allowing puns to cross language boundaries, found in artikolo 9, sekcio 304, paragrafo 18, but the fucking thing is in Esperanto, so I cannot make sense of it or even figure out the document title.

iswydt.

Arpaio just wants to have some kind of final solution.

And that’s lager.

I saw what you both did there.

Ninja’d (sort of).

I saw what you did there.

ETA: Ninja’d. Multiple times.

Still, it deserves calling out. That was golden.
