Now that Senator Ron Johnson has returned from his 4th of July sojourn to Moscow, he thinks it’s time to evaluate the lifting of sanctions against Russia imposed after the invasion of Crimea.
A black man who is a felon was appearing before the state of Florida clemency board (which includes state officials such as the Governor), trying to get his voting rights restored. One member of the board, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, asked him how many children he had, and by how many different mothers. He also asked another black appelant if he went to church.
Not to mention the suggestion about shooting Waters–something entirely absent from the Sam Bee remarks that caused so much outrage among Trump supporters.
It will certainly be a black eye for California if this guy (who apparently has a long record of posting objectionable stuff) is allowed to go on collecting a paycheck.
“My use of the word was just retaliation for the reference to the President’s daughter. And I clearly did not threaten violence against her; I merely said that she’s so abrasive and obnoxious, I’m surprised no one has threatened violence against her. Liberals are so oversensitive.”
Not sure how to expect that to play out. Taunting the producers of copious bullshit might be a tad risky, as thos critters are not well known for intelligence or restraint.
I wish that idiotic, racist comments like those made by Seth Grossman would motivate more minorities to vote. Even if it is a majority white district, every person of any color should vote against Grossman. But I don’t know think these racist remarks usually drive greater minority voter turnout, and that is very sad.
Jesus Christ. A deputy state attorney couldn’t get away with that shit even here in Florida, and he’d be reprimanded by the state bar even if he wasn’t fired.
