Democrats were already targeting North Carolina’s 9th District before incumbent Rep. Robert Pittenger lost his Republican primary (to) … Mark Harris on multiple occasions — as a preacher and political candidate — has said that women should submit fully to their husbands …
Ok, nothing shocking there,
Harris said in a Friday interview with Roll Call that a wife submitting to her husband does not mean that they are not equal.
That’s relatively outrageous. I’m sure that translates as they think *Trump *should be able to do it. Because if it’s the President (whomever it is) should be able to do it, ask them how they would’ve liked Obama shutting down Fox “News.” I’m sure their answer would be, “But CNN is fake news!” and call me a snowflake or something, but the point still stands.
To my understanding, this is pretty much mainstream evangelical thought. That submitting to one’s husband doesn’t make the marriage unequal, because both the wife and the husband have their roles. It’s phenomenally stupid, don’t get me wrong, but this shouldn’t come as some uniquely bizarre insight.
That’s… what ? WHY ?! Is it for JOBS! again, so y’all can spend 20 years gutting those buildings somewhere down the line ? I mean, that’s forward thinking all right… but you know it’s illegals going to do that job, right ?
(or maybe someone told Trump about Clean Asbestos ?)
I’m beginning to think that the reason for the camaraderie many of the Republicans in goverment show for the Russians is the misconception on part of the first group that Alexander Zinoviev’s paradoxical books are not satire but manuals.
The official Arizona GOP Twitter account:
“The U.S. has witnessed 94 consecutive months of job growth. This proves that President Trump’s bold vision for our nation is working, and opportunities are back for American families. We must keep Arizona red to continue this momentum!”
74 of those months happened before Trump became President.
The lede: "One of the world’s biggest producers of asbestos, a Russian company with ties to Vladimir Putin, is praising President Trump for allowing asbestos to remain legal in the U.S. The company’s applause for Trump comes as Russia is poised to become the leading importer to the U.S. of asbestos, which causes diseases that kill an estimated 15,000 Americans a year.
