Rudy Giuliani Claims Facts Are ‘In the Eye of the Beholder,’ Calls Trump the Most ‘Honest’ President in History
President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, said Tuesday that in the modern era facts are “in the eye of the beholder.”
In a back and forth exchange between Giuliani and Chris Cuomo on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time, the former mayor of New York City called Trump one of the most honest presidents in history.
“If fact counting is anything, we’ve never had anybody with the level of mendacity that he has,” Cuomo quickly responded, likely alluding to the over 4,000 false or misleading claims Trump has made, according to The Washington Post since taking office.
“It’s in the eye of the beholder,” Giuliani said. When Cuomo tried to respond that factual statements are not in the eye of the beholder, the attorney answered with “nowadays they are.”…

Newt Gingrich employs a similarly Orwellian redefinition of reality in his book “Trump’s America”:

He isn’t stupid. I think his game is just to throw out confusion, including all the bald lies it takes, so that the Deplorables can continue to dismiss the investigation, and anything else legal involving Trump, as a partisan “witch hunt”. He’s not really acting as Trump’s lawyer, but as a political advocate.

Everyone other than Fox needs to stop giving Guiliani, Conway, et al, airtime. Just take their friendly Fox interviews and document the lies. It’s fucking useless interviewing them, because anyone with a working brain cell knows they are lying, and all that crew is doing is trying to find those without working brain cells. Our intention was to honor the icon using a secondary image of her performing with Patti LaBelle in the full screen graphic, but the image of Ms. Franklin was obscured in that process, which we deeply regret.”
The image of LaBelle Fox News used was from a 2014 White House concert called “Women of Soul.” Franklin and LaBelle did both sing there but, at least in the PBS recording of the event, did not perform on stage at the same time. And, as Mediaite points out, the AP photo used in the graphic does not include Franklin at all.

USA Today says Aretha only performed solos that night.
What is even more appalling was that the 2 ladies did not like one another. But Ms. LaBelle is classy and said her good-bye quite nicely:
