Jason Chaffetz shows his own version of deplorability.
The sad reality is we have a 7-year-old girl who has died, and she should have never, ever made that journey. And that should be the message, don’t make this journey, it will kill you.
No remorse for the deceased, no sympathy for the family.
As one of the tweets in the article says: “There are a lot of evil folks in this world. Jason Chaffetz sits comfortably near the top of such a list.”

Every Republican idea is stupid.
Can we talk about Stephen Miller’s idea that spray painting his head before going on network talk shows would be a good idea?
That…is fantastic. He really, really thought that no one would notice.

Imagine what it would take for you to uproot yourself from your home to undertake an arduous journey with no certain outcome. How bad must the conditions have been?
ROFL, I couldn’t take my eyes off it when I saw the clips. All I could think was, “I guess someone actually does spend money on that stupid Topix shit!!”
Of men with insecurities about their hair… beware!!

I saw a closeup of it. His “hair” was running with the hot lights.
Ick.
Thanks for taking that hit for us all. Ick is right. Glad I missed it.

It’s a bit less inspirational than “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free”.

Or he hoped that spraypainting his own head would prevent people from noticing the vile crap he was saying.

I’m not sure if this little tidbit belongs here, but it is stupid, and the guy’s undoubtedly a Republican, so here goes.
Evangelical Christian leader: ‘President Trump is a genetic marvel’
Richard D. Land is the president of the Southern Evangelical Seminary, so you can imagine that he sees evil in a lot of things: Planned Parenthood, gay marriage — but when it comes to the walking obscenity that is Donald Trump, he has nothing but praise.
…
“I would think being chief of staff to President Trump would be more difficult than virtually any president in my memory,” Land said in a video clip flagged by Right Wing Watch. “President Trump is the Energizer Bunny.”
“He gets up at five in the morning, he goes to bed at midnight and it’s full bore all the way in between,” he continued. “He’s a genetic marvel.”
Land then regurgitated the evangelical trope that says Trump has moved on from his former depraved and adulterous ways, saying that he’s a very “different man” than he was years ago.
“He’s a very different man morally, he’s a very different man spiritually,” Land said. “I think the nature of his third marriage is one that Christians would be much more comfortable with.”
I won’t argue that DJT is a genetic marvel, but not in the way this guy means. :dubious:

Six hours of TV watching is ‘full bore’?
What the hell does he think all the OTHER Presidents were doing?
To hear Individual-1 tell it, they all played too much golf.
Holy cow! Wotta load o’ extra-special stoopid! The mind wobbles…
