Well, he did say blacks and whites in equal numbers were lynched for being Republican. The numbers in question being zero and zero.
Now, the total of blacks who were lynched for other reasons is a whole different number. That one’s not equal to the number of whites lynched for other things. It’s a lot bigger.
While she did not back her comment with any evidence, there is this (Tuskeegee Institute via Wikipedia):
So given that whites were lynched (albeit in much smaller numbers per capita) and Republicans (white or black) were not well-received in the Post-War South, it is barely possible there is some evidence for this.
But I doubt (1) there is any and (2) she’s going to bother to show any evidence.
Switzerland doesn’t have a proper navy but it does have a Lakes Flotilla (and a Merchant Marine service). But they don’t have fun knives like the Swiss Army does. Or aircraft carriers.
They actually won the America’s Cup once, too. They had to borrow a port in Spain to defend it, though - there’s not enough room to lay out a course on Lake Geneva, apparently.
Remember one single thing about the Wilbur Ross thing…Wilbur Ross is a banker. He’s touting for his industry here. He’s basically complaining that furloughed fed workers are going to food banks instead of taking out high-interest emergency loans to pay for food and shelter.
This is, at its base, Wilbur Ross complaining that furloughed fed workers aren’t helping to make him and his industry richer. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was also a partial reason for the shutdown, period.
