Stupid Republican idea of the day

Apparently there are still people out there dumb enough to take the word of the Prevaricator-in-Chief:

Mmm, sounds like she *knows *he’s lying and is telling him so.

And sometimes it’s because the *plaintiff *is an asshole.

And of course the implication is that it’s perfectly fine to defund necessary military spending to build the wall… as long as it doesn’t cost MY state jobs. What a jackass.

Texas state legislator who wants to loosen requirements that kids get vaccinated isn’t worried about diseases like measles because there are antibiotics.

“I am seeking assurances that the face-eating weasels will not eat MY face right away. Screw those other people.”

Seriously. NIMBY becomes NECGIMST: No “Emergency” Cash-Grab In My State, Trump.

She prominently ran endorsements from Donnie during the campaign and lost anyway, then was appointed senator by the Republican governor to fill the remainder of McCain’s term. Color me not surprised.

Isn’t science that has been filtered through a Republican brain just the greatest?
:smack:

Rick Santorum explains that it’s not particularly suspicious that Trump lies about Russia, because Trump lies about everything:

I’m surprised. I would have expected Santorum to be much smoother and slicker and slipperier than that.

Remember when Trump told that “You knew I was a snake when you took me in” story during the campaign? Yeah, that’s Santorum’s argument for Trump.

Mind you, why does anyone care what Santorum even says these days?

Nitpick: she was appointed to fill the remainder of Jon Kyl’s term after his resignation, not McCain’s. Anyway, one would think that if there is genuinely a National Emergency at the border, she would be happy to suspend construction on other Arizona military projects to take care of it.

The two operative words in your post are **IF **and GENUINELY. :dubious:

For what it’s worth, the bill has no chance whatsoever of passing. Montanans are pretty conservative in some ways, but the environment is not one of them. There are regions that lean heavily on the fossil-fuel industry (presumably, this idiot represents one of them), but they’re outnumbered by the regions that depend on healthy wilderness.

Yes, he’s usually much more frothy.

Paul LePage may have finally been removed from the Maine governor’s mansion, but he continues to pollute the body politic. The headline pretty much says it all:

Former Maine Governor Defends Electoral College, Saying It Protects White People

That isn’t stupid, just unusually honest.

That guy’s a fucking drip.

iswydt
