Stupid Republican idea of the day

Christ was an idiot. It’s fine as long as you flog the house really quick (preferably to poor people who don’t have the means to sue) and you’re mates with the inspector.

It’s about time someone went after the -isms. I await his thoughts on fascism and racism. I’m sure they’re brilliant.

That’s easy: anyone in Monty’s categories are also the real Fascists and racists, amirite?

I keep picturing this as some Navin Johnson-like pronouncement: “Socialism, I damn thee!”

Jeez, how come no one ever thought of that before, condemning socialism? Would have nipped it right in the bud. In the bud!

On the other hand, I’m not at all sure I want to hear his notions on feminism.

Apropos of nothing:

Why am I suddenly thinking of circumcision?

That’s an ision, not an ism. Take it somewhere else, ya commie!

God wants us to cut the ends of our dicks off, it’s in the constitution or something.

Says the poster called Running with Scissors!!

Consider yourself lucky. Could have been Running With Shotguns.

Dilbert creator/Trumpsucker Scott Adams has created an app where people can go to peddle their stories for money. And Scott takes a percentage off the top. He is actively soliciting Gilroy shooting witnesses to sign up with his app to sell their stories. So that he can profit.

I still love and read Dilbert every day, but Scott Adams’s antics are really starting to stick in my craw.

I still re-read the books I already own but I long ago stopped doing anything that would give Scott Adams money. The more money he gets, the more he can do bad shit with it. ‘Starve the beast’ etc.

I don’t have the strength to start a new thread for this, and this one seems as good as any other, so:

Reagan was a racist fuck. I mean, you knew that, but in recently released recordings from 1971, Reagan complains to Nixon about the UN recognizing China. He singles out the delegates from some African nations for particular scorn:

Trump is not an anomaly. He is who they have always been.

Just the other day, I was thinking “Scott Adams can’t really be as creepy as they say, can he?”

I’ll admit it: when I’m wrong, I’m wrong!

Makes no sense that a man that made fun of idiots in power for a lifetime, now supports them. I kinda think something is broken with Scott.

Yeah, you’re right–his entire success was built on the idea that ‘the people in charge are idiots.’ Now he’s gone full-authoritarian, and seemingly sees nothing but a golden god when he looks at The Idiot Trump.

Maybe he did suffer a blow to the head at some point. It’s not impossible (and the public, probably, would not have been told about it).

Isn’t he one of the sufferers of 9/11 Derangement Syndrome, like Dennis Miller?

I have a friend who worked with Scott Adams. Said he was weird even before he got weird. Pinged this guy’s Not Quite Right meter back in the 90s.

But I was impressed; he was the first person I ever heard of who quit his job, then got hired back as a consultant at a much higher hourly rate.

I read one of Scott Adams’ books, The Dilbert Future, and it had some weird shit in it near the end. I’ll let Insolitology sum it up:

… OK, I won’t quote the whole page, but it only gets worse from there.

My point is, Adams is one of those people who’s primed to believe weird shit, for whatever reason, and those people tend to believe lots of weird shit. Crank magnetism is very real.
