Just a quick little note to say Fuck You to Republicans who are so vehemently against “socialism” and “welfare” that they’re willing to do harm to living, breathing human beings, but are more than willing to embrace both of them when it’s bailing out corporations and giving more tax breaks to the wealthy. Fuck you guys.

But Meghan McCain said just this morning that it’s a libertarian philosophy, not socialist, and we all know what a wise political pundit she is (or pundint, as she pronounces it).

Well, not in Ohio, you can’t. Gov. DeWine ® just closed all bars and restaurants in the state. And he’s saying that the school closure is likely to extend for the rest of the year.
For comparison, the CDC only recommends closing a school if one of the students or staff is diagnosed, and then only for a few weeks.
There’s a part of me that thinks that he just wanted to close schools in general, and saw this as a golden opportunity. But I’m not sure why he wants to trash the economy of the state.
