Yes, if you follow the link, the headline is: “#JustWearScrubs: GOP chairwoman tells anti-lockdown protesters to impersonate health care workers”
Why would health care workers, who are already working harder than ever before, be protesting for the government to open their businesses?
Yes, I know they’re not real health care workers. I’m just pointing out that the ruse that’s being proposed makes absolutely no sense.
Often logic/reasonableness fails when looking at some of this BS. You’ve probably noticed. Also, the proliferation of out and out STUPIDITY seems to be increasing just as fast as the virus numbers. No cure for that and no vaccine. (Besides, the stupidest ones would probably be anti-vaxxers anyway.)
Oh stewardess. I speak Republican scum.
The tactic is two-fold. 1) it’s the old, ‘see, not all scientists believe in global warning’ gambit. They think if the public sees nurses and doctors on both sides it makes the whole thing meaningless. And B) if that doesn’t work, it’s the old, 'we know their nurses and doctors are fake because our nurses and doctors are fake," dodge.
Either way, they don’t give a shit. They’re just trying to muddy the waters.
Dammit. Well, I was raised in southern Minnesota . . .
But what about the imporetant part then?
Inquiring minds want to know.
You’ll have to ask The Donald. He is the expert on multi-syllabic words.
I am so stealing this only I’m changing the roommates’ names to Richard and Dennis because some people are a little slow at connecting the dots.
An Iowan made a dynamite bomb, and threw it over the border, A Minnesotan lit it, and threw it back.
After the New York Times reported that a guy listened to Sean Hannity and went on a cruise, where he caught Coronavirus and subsequently died, Hannity’s lawyer sent the Times a 12 page letter demanding a retraction and apology. The Times’ lawyer responded, “No.”

BTW, Fox has cut all ties with Diamond and Silk after they repeatedly reported the virus being a hoax to make Individual 1 look bad, and suggested (contradicting themselves) that you should go out and expose yourself to it.
Fox News Cuts Ties With Diamond & Silk, Unofficial Trump ‘Advisers’ Who Spread Bonkers Coronavirus Claims?
I wonder if it would be unethical for the NYT to publish the full text of the demand letter.
Watching Hannity’s lawyer making himself look like an idiot could be fun (my Netflix queue is getting a little sparse).
Also:
Who the hell are Diamond and Silk?
Two African American Trump lovers whom he used to bring on in his rallies after they fawned all over him. They got their own gig on Fox and have their own online channel.
There is a link to the entire demand letter in the article (copied here for your ease - pdf)
While I happily know extremely little about them, I think they are simply shock social media celebrities saying whatever they think will get them their 15+ minutes. The only thing they love is attention, and they don’t care how much they debase themselves to get it.
I knew nothing of this controversy until I read this thread and then clicked on the letter. I"m disappointed that it appears to be a well written letter with a legitimate complaint. (In fairness, I would like to see the “other side” before finalizing my opinion)
I hate Hannity as much as the next guy, but it seems that the NYT implied the dead guy took a cruise on March first, and quoted things Hannity said later in March and April, to create an impression he went on a cruise due to Hannity’s idiotic downplaying of the risk.

Maybe at some point Chuck Harder could get a room at the nice gray hotel where Hannity’s previous lawyer was being hosted.
Well, the End Times aren’t going to bring themselves, you know.
Ted Cruz has his thumb on the major issue of the day. Preventing the Pentagon from working with movie studios which censor content for China.
“Talkies”?
Who the fuck calls movies “talkies” these days?
