Stupid Republican idea of the day

Hey, the damn dirty lying sack of dung is calling himself a wartime president, isn’t he? He can paint the White House’s outside wall like pilots did with their planes back in World War II (which, of course, he would call “World War Eleven”). The WWII pilots used little swastika flags or rising sun flags for each enemy dispatched. Tan the Conman could use little stick people. Right about now, he’d need 76,206 of them to be up-to-date. He’d probably go with using coronavirus stickers instead because that would make the wall “beautiful, the best wall in the country” and he still doesn’t have a clue that cause and effect are connected.

The Arizona Department of Health Services has disbanded their team of Covid-19 experts because the experts’ models predicted a rise in cases if the Governor were to reopen the state,

Firing on all cylinders? The Death Star doesn’t have ion propulsion, rockets or even jet engines, it’s piston powered! Not sure where they’ll find that much av-gas in this day and age.

Exactly this. Most federal regulations assume good faith on the part of the enforcers. That is so patently untrue under Trump that we need to discard that philosophy.

Weren’t both Death Stars destroyed by relatively small-scale attacks? Just hit the right spot and the whole thing explodes.

Kind of like sex.

Well, there is an opening for a valet. I could see Kushner approving Christie for that.

Christie’s taste in haberdashery is nearly as awful as Trump’s. Let him stick to fetching the hamberders from the nearest fast food joint.

Such a perfect metaphor

A big bunch of nothing delivering a big bunch of nothing.

Just for the photo oops.

Did you even read your own cite?

Individual-ONE never complained about the Derp State.

Wow! An example of Republican idiocy turns out not to be true! Now, that’s a rare bit of sunshine!

(Always look on the blight side of life!)

While I can give Captain Cootie-pants a pass on making a joke, don’t lose sight of the fact that it’s still deceptive messaging at work here.

Q: Why would you load empty boxes into the van in the first fucking place?
A: Because you don’t have any more full ones and you want to disguise that fact.

Of course this was going to happen:

And, yes, Georgia’s governor and the majority of its legislature is Republican.

Double Post.

Well, this is interesting. The Republican “Central Comittee” (a term that sounds oddly evocative) in Colorado is recorded as trying to pressure an election official into signing an affidavit that records a candidate as receiving more votes than he actually did. The candidate in question complained that the vote was “unfair”. The official (a volunteer) replied that he would seek legal counsel before signing a false affidavit.

Good for the official, standing his ground, and the courts backing him up. And a double FU to the Republican party declaring the election wasn’t fair because the virus caused people to have to stay home and not be able to vote. This from the party trying to suppress mail-in voting and purging suspected Democrat voters as fast as they can. I wish hypocrisy was an actual physical object so they could choke on it.

I can’t think of a rationale — other than CYA — for “seek[ing] legal counsel before signing a false affidavit.” Despite what the Trumpistas have been telling us, facts are facts and a count is a count. “If your supporters are too afraid to exercise their franchise, that’s not my problem; I’m not putting myself in legal jeopardy because you don’t like the results.”

OTOH, this could be something on the order of a trial balloon for November. If it works in this instance, then swing counties in swing states could be targeted: a county here, a county there … it all adds up.

Anything that makes the Democratic vote count higher than the Republican vote count, whether actually or potentially, must be stamped out! For example, in California:

McConnell and trump have both said that anything that enables MORE people to vote is bad for Republicans.

Once again trump demonstrated his facility with talking out of both sides of this mouth-- sometimes simultaneously.
