You know, that piques an interest: We haven’t (or at least I cannot recall) hearing or seeing the most prominent African-American who supports Trump, Ben Carson, the head of HUD (Housing and Urban Development). After several early gaffes, he has, like Rick Perry, faded into the background, but you’d think somebody would ask him what his thoughts (such as they are and what there are of them) were.
Or giving it some more thought; you’d think Trump and his merry men would have Carson out there, in the front row, to show that yes, Republicans can be black and successful and friends with Trump…unless they know something or suspect he would say something that they wouldn’t like.
All speculation above, but I am surprised Mr. Carson hasn’t been featured more…we shall see.
