In this post, I pre-emptively ridicule whatever twisting Fox news does to show that George Clooney is evil for getting himself arrested to raise awareness of the genocide in Sudan.
And also that they somehow saw it as an attack against conservatives.
Man, can you believe how O’Reilly/Hannity/Geraldo/Steve Doocey spun that? What douches!
To be fair, a handful of (apparently idiot) Democrats voted with them. It still has to pass the state senate, but I’m not optimistic that reason will prevail.
I’m just waiting for kanicbird to show up here and tell us all that the greatest love a mother can show for her unborn child is to give her life for it.
From the Colbert Report I learn that Santorum claims old Dutch people wear “Do not euthanize me” bracelets. This is untrue, but justified because Santorum is “speaking from the heart.”
I realize Santorum’s stupidities are so plentiful he gets his own thread, but the Colbert episode has funny stupidities by other Republicans as well.
The RNC is denouncing Obama’s War on Women. People attack in others what they hate in themselves. Also, the GOP is especially good at arguing Dem’s strengths are their weaknesses.
I know Sean Hannity isn’t an elected official and doesn’t speak for the Republican Party yadda yadda, but this is one of the stupidest Republican things I’ve seen…well, today.
John Locke Foundation (right wing NC group, funded by local asshole, Art Pope) publishes racist, homophobic picture. Do these people not know that if it’s on the internet, people other than your buddies can read it? How many times is this going to happen before they figure that out?
You know it’d be hilarious and pathetic if that were the sum total of the political power of the right-wing. Unfortunately, there are people like George Zimmerman that are probably influenced by the underlying assumptions of such patently ridiculous pictures and form schemas that influence behaviour…
