Stupid Republican idea of the day

However, doing it for a rightist agenda is OK?

Wow, rarely do you get someone actually flat out stating that IOKIARDI.

The science isn’t clear on that. On the one hand rhythm allows for awesome bucket drumming, and on the other hand it allows obnoxious bass beats. That may have been their bone of contention.

There is no trolling so over-the-top that it can’t be confused with the scrawlings of a sufficiently obtuse writer.

That is sooooooo 2008.

This could be a template. Tweak it just a bit, after watching this gentleman, and you get
‘As a veteran, I believe that any veteran lending their name, to promote the leftist propaganda of gay marriage, in an effort to undermine the sanctity of marriage, is a traitor to the oath he or she took to defend the Constitution of our great nation!’ Mr. Metcalfe’s fake email as tweaked by me but I would not be at all surprised if it came true reads. ‘Remember Benedict Arnold before giving credibility to a veteran who uses their service as a means to promote a leftist agenda. Marriage is between a man and a woman!’

Luckily, that’s fake. So far.

I’d be highly interested in hearing if any Republican is stupid enough to attack Mr. Spooner. There just can’t be any THAT stupid, please?

And along those same lines:

Republican Councilman Lee Barnes of Arizona apologized for saying, regarding finances, “Excuse my action but I’m just a little Jewish to be able to do this.”

Cite.

He had to apologize twice because the first time was of the “but it’s a compliment” variety.

This part is hilarious:

“I didn’t mean to insult black people, I was just saying they’re good dancers…it wa a COMPLIMENT.”

Can I play? Ladies and gentlemen, I present T. Boone Pickens, who is certainly stupid and most likely Republican:

Evil, pure and simple from the 8th Dimension.

I’d say to argue that you deserve plunder because you got hurt plundering it is the dumbest thing I’ve heard since a co-worker told me that insects aren’t animals. And that’s pretty dumb.

I think the trite slogan at the end needs to be stupider to really compare to 'Drill, baby, drill". Maybe “It’s Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!” would work.

Of course you’re right! Much better.

Umm…remember the Congressman who lost 3 limbs in Vietnam being called a coward?

Saxby Chambliss of Georgia ran ads that morphed Max Cleland’s (a triple amputee from Vietnam) face into Saddam Hussein’s and Osama bin Laden’s. He won, and was reelected last year. Good job, Georgia.

He also said in November 2001 that homeland security could be fixed by arresting every Muslim who crossed the Georgia state line.

How many Muslims voluntarily enter Georgia anyway?

Probably not very many. Only 16% of the population identifies with a religion other than Christianity, and 13% of those are atheist/agnostic.

Still, they’ve got hospitals, which means they’ve got doctors, which means there are some Hindus and Muslims around there somewhere.

I can forgive state senator Berg. I thought that these were push polls and not a fund raising gimmick too.

NC GOP-er Delivers Anti-Republican Survey Comments To Dem Gov Still, I would have read them first.

Unlike senator Berg, the Governors office actually read the surveys. Here is one response:

There was also a $50 donation to Berg in there too.

They likely mean to arrest those attempting to escape as well.

That pissed me off so much that I travelled from Chicago to the suburbs of Atlanta to volunteer for Jim Martin, Chambliss’ Democratic challenger in a run-off election. We didn’t succeed because Jim Martin, a good and decent man, has the raw charisma of soup.

Lame, content-free scary video from the National Republican Senatorial Committee: Paranormal Taxivity

Well Alabama keeps electing Sessions. What is in the water down there.
