Stupid Republican idea of the day

“He threw his dirty used condoms on my driveway,”:

Former GOP committeeman sentenced to jail

Blake Hall quits Republican party post, loses job
The leading Idaho Republican resigns from the GOP National Committee after his stalking conviction.

Back in my day, serenading under a window was how it was done. This newfangled condom-tossing sounds a bit decadent.

“He will also have a one year no-contact-order with his victim.” Gosh, that’s so harsh.

One wonders whether the order specifically prohibits him from disposing of prophylactics on the victim’s property.

It’s a big step forward, for at least he is using condoms.

Some women are so mean. Clearly, he was saving himself for her – millions and billions of little Republican sperm.

Jon Stewart Catches Sean Hannity Falsifying Footage To Make GOP Protest Appear Bigger (VIDEO)

The tea party protests continued last week, as Congresswoman Michele Bachmann held an anti-health-care-reform rally on the steps of the Capitol. While she estimated that 20,000-45,000 people attended the event, the Washington Post reported it was actually more like 10,000.
Still, that is a sizable number of Americans exercising their right to free speech and assembly, and that warrants news coverage. **But Sean Hannity and his team did more than cover the event. They not only inflated the number in attendance with their words, but actually used footage from a heavily-attended protest this summer to make this health care rally appear more popular. Hannity even pointed out that this was a huge crowd for a Thursday, when the protest footage they used was from a Saturday. **
Jon Stewart and his team caught this discrepancy and ran with it, pointing out neither the color of the leaves nor sky in the tacked-on video matched that of the actual footage. They went on to mock Fox by adding more video to the interview, this time from Woodstock and the movie “300.”

It’s all perfectly okay for Hannity to do that - his show is not “news”.

Besides, Dan Rather got a blowjob.
No, wait, I’m getting my tu quoques confused…

Sarah Palin is not just stupid, she is intentionally stupid:

Notice that it was actually Fox News that called her out on her latest bullshit.

Shows her that you’re thinking clearly - you know, hormones have all been exorcised (and exercised! rimshot). So she knows you’re talking from the bottom of your heart, not the bottom of your shaft.

-Joe

I’m thinking that your idea of a ‘rimshot’ and his are VERY different.

According to Bill Kristol (R - Never Right), the idea of due process is stupid:

http://thinkprogress.org/2009/11/13/kristol-hasan-trial/

Not to be out-stupided, Sarah Palin gives her deep thoughts on trials for alleged terrorists:

Thanks for the Kristol brain-damage Frostillicus. It’s always interesting to see what stupidity that asshole is going to spout next. Palin too.

here’s some more McCain idiocy:

McCain urges town hall attendees to cut up their AARP membership cards.

From the original source:

His “greatest fear” has always been true, where’s he been? And yeah, like people are going to give up all the advantages and discounts AARP provides based on what some rich guy says. Is AARP going to be the GOP’s next ACORN-like target? I need to join AARP, just to support them.
I don’t know where to put this but since all these people most likely vote Republican (it’s such a big tent party dont’chaknow) this is as good a place as any.

Scuffle Ensues when Neo-Nazis Unfurl Hitler Flag at Tea Party Rally (Video at link)

So it’s ok for the teabaggers to use Nazi imagery (though maybe not at this particular racist rally), but when real (wannabe) Nazis show up, that’s not good. “They’re racist, we’re not racist” laugh

If only the Nazis would use the Swastika and Hitler moustache for good rather than evil…

Don’t the teabaggers respect freedom of speech?

Apparently not. shock!

Edit to add a laugh at Boyo Jim’s post.

The funny thing is the other story linked right after that one.

Ezell Harris, Tea Party Candidate, Arrested On Drug Charges

It’s like they don’t even try anymore…

Drugs are ok as long as they’re Republican drugs.

And exciting drugs they’re sure to be! Oxycontin, Viagra, maybe something for heart trouble and a topical to prevent the flesh from withering when exposed to the light of Earth’s sun.
