I swear, party leaders should invest in a shit ton of spray bottles to keep around for all their crazy legislators. Every time one of them brings up cutting voting hours or mentions the word “rape” somebody give them a squirt to the face and yells “No! Bad!” It’s the only way to discourage this repetitive destructive behavior.
Defeating them at the ballot box *should *be another way, but it doesn’t seem to have worked all that well yet. Maybe if we try harder?

GOP state Rep. Tedd Gassman(R) Iowa, wants to eliminate no fault divorce in Iowa. He’s afraid girls (specifically his granddaughter) will become promiscuous due to parental divorce.
I’ll make a prediction as to how this bill is going to be defeated. Someone will point out that (divorce) trial lawyers will love it. It would bring back the days of manufactured cause, and boost fees.
Also, the often trumped up grounds make great reading for the former minor children when they get older and more curious about their parents’ divorce.
