Arkansas Republican: Shoot Lawmakers For Expanding Medicaid

I recall disgusting talk like that coming from the right (remember Sarah Palin and her targets?) in the days leading up to the Gabby Giffords assassination attempt.

If they really start acting on that then they’ve lost.

Here are a couple more recent doozies by Arkansas Republicans:

Jon Hubbard, Arkansas Legislator, Says Slavery May ‘Have Been A Blessing’ In New Book

Charlie Fuqua, Arkansas Legislative Candidate, Endorses Death Penalty For Rebellious Children In Book

Grassley strikes again!

This morning, during the extended hearing about the immigration bill, human turd Chuck Grassley snapped that it was SO unfair that people get to politicize the West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion but he doesn’t get to do the same with the Boston bombing:

Luckily the Slate.com article points out the bullshit:

As usual, reality has a liberal bias. The Tsarnaev brothers immigrated to the US 10 years ago. The younger brother was 9 at the time. How. The. FUCK. is anyone supposed to guard against something like this 10 years down the line? Immigration had nothing to do with it, could not have affected it, and bringing some pointless bullshit into the conversation is just political trolling. THAT’S why its irrelevant, you donkey-raping shit eater. Just as Nate Bell thinks that people in their houses with AR-15’s would somehow help the Boston manhunt. Why? Who are you going to shoot? And how would it be any different if people had handguns instead?

Republicans are morons if they believe these “arguments” to be logical, and they are evil if they are only doing it to politicize the tragedies. On the other hand, regulations and government inspections WOULD DEFINITELY have stopped the West, Texas explosion. There is no comparison, you ass-licking uncle fucker.

I came here to mention this as well.

Here’s a direct link to the Republican Newsletter in question.

http://www.nogy.net/bcgop/Apr_2013/index.html

Here are a couple more quotes from it:

“Part of me feels that this betrayal deserves a quick implementation of my 2nd amendment rights to remove a threat domestic.”

“I don’t feel the same way about the Democrats as bullet backstops as I do about the Republicans who joined them.”

This guy really appears to believe that his second amendment rights involve being allowed to shoot people.

(On a tangential note, how did I know that if I googled him, Chris Nogy would turn out to be a paunchy, doughy, soft-looking middle aged guy.)

Can any of this be interpreted as a terroristic threat? This guy appears to be moving from Stupid Republican to Dangerous Republican (not to mention the assholes he might inspire). I mean, threatening violence to further your political goals…isn’t that terrorism?

Depends. Are you brown?

It’s really hard to see what he wrote as not suggesting that people do have the right to walk up and shoot someone who they don’t believe has done their job as a representative of the people.

He does later say: “Personally, I think a gun is quicker and more merciful, but hey, we can’t.” So, clearly, he’s telling people that they can’t actually shoot others.

His statements come in the context of a pretty specific discussion, so perhaps a reasonable person might interpret his words to mean that the group of representatives who did not vote the way he wanted on this particular bill should be shot… except that people shouldn’t shoot them.

I see it as over the line. I also see it as part of a broader collection of examples in which conservatives think it’s okay to try to intimidate using firearms in order to sway political discussion.

I know the stupid flows freely, but do try and keep up. The post right above yours mentions Chuck Fuqua. He rose to prominence when Fuqua, with this choice statement:

Why can’t they be both ?

Or won.

JFTR, the term “Second Amendment remedies” was popularized in 2010 by [del]now-Senator (then candidate) Sharron Angle in her successful bid to defeat then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada[/del] now-loudmouth-malcontent-private-citizen/crank (then candidate) Sharron Angle in her unsuccessful bid to defeat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

Tennessee state senator Stacey Campfield – remember him? – is in hot water again. As a reminder, he is the brilliant mind who suggested that welfare payments be reduced for families whose children perform poorly in school, and who suggested that AIDS came from some homosexual “screwing a monkey” in Africa. (“It was a pilot, I recall.”)

Anyway, Stacey can understand why some people have taken offense at his joke on his blog about assault pressure cookers. I mean, if people can’t see the humor in using a terrorist bombing to make a statement about gun control, they need to take the stick out of their ass, right? Actually he response, in refusing to apologize, is that liberals need to be taken to task for their double standard regarding handguns and dangerous cookery.

I’m beginning to think he sits around thinking of new ways to get on the Colbert Report.

Piers Morgan to Republican NY state senator Greg Ball:

“Can you stop being such a jerk?”

Missouri republicans haveeliminated all funding for the statewide Drivers License Bureau because of fears over Agenda 21 fears from the wife of a committee member.

Glen Beck apparently still has an audience in Missouri.

Typo of the day…

“…to help law enforcement identify people who were weapons…”

She’s back…

Stella Tremblay, New Hampshire Legislator, Says U.S. Government Planned Boston Bombing

This Tremblay woman appears to be mentally ill. She’s a GOP elected politician?

But you repeat yourself…

For get gun sellers; apparently the *NH state senate *needs to do background checks for mental illness.
