I would like to see that! Really, I’ve never seen a tank and having them right on Hyde Street would make it soo easy.
What right does Greta Van Susteren have to be outraged? The republicans, aka Fox News, have made it loud and clear how the feel about women, so why is she acting like she’s shocked they feel this way?
Morgyn:
Ah, good. Tom Cotton of Arkansas thinks it would be just fine and dandy to throw the entire family in prison if one member of it is convicted of violating U.S. sanctions on Iran. The good news is that The bad news is that he thought this was a good idea in the first place.
Some days, there are just *not *enough roll-eyes.
He should move to North Korea; they would approve of this sort of thing.
Shayna:
** Kansas Republican Actually Opposes The Poor Buying More Food **
House Republican fuckhead Jeff Melcher explained his opposition to lowering sales tax from 6.3% to 4.95% on groceries thusly:
“It seems to me we are encouraging the behavior of purchasing food and discouraging the behavior of purchasing anything else.”
Chew on that for a bit.
I’m filing this under, “too hilariously fucking terrible to be true, yet it is” category.
kaylasdad99:
Pat Robertson did.
Yes, yes, I know that story appeared in March, 2012, but are you going to try to tell me that God can’t express His disapproval proactively? He’s GOD, for His sake!
Interesting fact that I discovered first hand:
Remember when Robertson said God would send hurricanes to hit Disneyworld because of “gay day?” The very next hurricane to make landfall in the U.S. that season scored an almost direct hit on Roberton’s headquarters.

Sometimes its just fun to watch them fight amongst themselves, like when Megyn Kelly responded to those guys
GOP injects ‘scandals’ into discussion of student loans
WTF? Why talk scandals when there is a simply policy issue at stake that should be essentially non-political?

Which just goes to show how insidious and widespread Teh Ghey Agenda is. Now even Og’s gay-friendly ! Where will it stop ?!
Ohio GOP student vote suppression effort backfires.
http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/05/24/ohios-house-of-representatives-blows-it-by-unintentionally-encouraging-the-democratic-vote/
The GOP House voted a bill to punish colleges and universities that provided proof of residence to students registering to vote by automatically reducing out-of-state tuition to in-state rates. Naturally, the schools were outraged and would face hundreds of millions of lost tuition revenue.
But then someone in the GOP controlled state senate realized that the out of state students would be more than happy to register if their tuition would be reduced.
Oopsie.
As Sen. Bill Coley (R-Liberty Township), said about the amendment:
“There is some concern that it might have an unintended consequence. They would get some financial incentive to vote in Ohio. That’s not what the House intended, nor what the Senate wants. So we’re trying to rework that piece.”
Translation: they need to find another way to suppress the student vote.
The second sentence of your post doesn’t really make sense.
Sure it does. Certain colleges in Ohio were certifying students as Ohio residents against the wishes of the GOP. So the GOP said “If they are Ohio residents, they should be paying Ohio tuition rates instead of out-of-state rates.”

This student-vote-suppression business is really sleazy. If you look at the voter registration rules for the various state jurisdictions, all they say is that you must be a legal resident of that state (and sometimes of your county of residence as well). Some stipulate that you must not “claim the right to vote in another county or state”, i.e., you can’t double-register, which is perfectly reasonable.
But the laws say nothing about requiring you not to have any other residence in a different state. To impose that additional requirement only on college students is blatantly discriminatory treatment.
Cathie Adams: Grover Norquist ‘Showing Signs Of Converting To Islam’ Because He Has A Beard
Not a parody:
Cathie Adams, president of the Texas Eagle Forum and former chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, made questionable remarks about anti-tax activist Grover Norquist during a recent speech on “Radical Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood.”
In a video posted by the Far North Dallas Tea Party and reported on by Right Wing Watch, Adams can be heard saying Norquist is “showing signs of converting to Islam himself," citing his beard as evidence.
“Many of us know him because often times we like what he says about economic issues, but Grover Norquist is trouble with a capital T,” Adams says in the video. “As you see he has a beard, and he’s showing signs of converting to Islam himself.”

“Trouble with a capital T” and that rhymes with P and that stands for… What the fuck?

Kentucky GOPer says teaching of science in schools is a UN plot.
Sadly, he is on state senate education committee.
Kentucky is in the process of updating its educational textbooks. Normally not a cause of contention (outside of Texas), this week it was brought into the spotlight when State Senator Mike Wilson wrote an op-ed against the new educational standards. In it, he proclaimed that the new educational standards are nothing less than an attempt by the UN to force control onto the population of the United States.

… Another area of contention is evolution. The standards make it clear that evolution is fundamental to understanding the life sciences. Generally, the standards focus on changes in gene pools, genetic mutations and effects of the environment on changes within species. The controversy arises with the statement that “Students can evaluate evidence of the conditions that may result in new species and understand the role of genetic variation in natural selection.” This is supposition and implies that one species may evolve into a different species. There is no factual evidence that this has ever occurred and to suppose that it happens is counter to the beliefs of many Kentuckians. …

OK, is there a flow chart to show what the UN is up to?
It would really help to keep this straight.
The Islamic indoctrination of our children continues. I’ve read we now teach them Arabic numerals and something called al-jabr .
