Stupid Republican idea of the day

I’ve seen a bunch of his posts on Twitter (I browse #tcot, a Tea Party hashtag), and he’s always like that about everyone. I actually got banned from his twitter because I corrected him on several subjects and (in my opinion) made him look a bit thick.

He’s just a troll cunt who lives to upset other people.

Do they really have to throw out transphobic slurs while being herded into camps? Seems like there would be some first amendment issues there.

No, they have to lip-synch them.

So, is that why libertarians are so totally gay?

On a similar theme, I just noticed this HuffPo article, published several days ago (while the shutdown was still on) on 10/14/2013.

Here Are The Sleaziest Things Congress Has Done During The Shutdown by Nick Wing.

In a nutshell (summary from the paragraph headings):
[ul]
[li] Grandstand at the World War II Memorial.[/li][li] Berate a Park Ranger for the effects of the shutdown.[/li][li] Put on lab coats and chastise Democrats for not funding cancer research.[/li][li] Fund raise off the whole debacle.[/li][li] Rub their “nice house” in the faces of 800,000 federal employees they helped furlough.[/li][li] Tell furloughed employees they shouldn’t get back pay while they’re prohibited from working.[/li][li] Suggest furloughed employees take out loans if they can’t pay the bills.[/li][li] Accuse the president of “curb-stomping” people.[/li][li] Keep the congressional gym and other amenities open as essential services.[/li][li] Complain that the gym is gross and doesn’t have enough towels.[/li][/ul]

(ETA: Not that there’s necessarily anything here you haven’t already read about, but they bring it all together into one article.)

Not long ago, Republicans were deriding Obama as a wimpy pushover. Now that he’s bested the GOP, he’s suddenly a cunning negotiator who set a trap. He should be more consistent so the Republicans can get their story straight.

Libertarians swing and they play
You can use them most any which way
Straight, gay, trans, or bi
Or whatever you’ll try
All while shouting, “For freedom! Hooray!”

Rick Scarborough, Tea Party Leader, Suggests Class Action Lawsuit Against Homosexuality

And then we can sue “left handedness”, “sugar tastes sweet”, and “women like tall guys”.

I’d actually love to see that happen, so that we can have the courts finally make it clear that no, being gay is not a choice. You stupid thick fuckwits.

Oddly enough a lot of the gay community would prefer this not happen. Because as soon as there’s a diagnosis of a cause, you know that people will be looking for a cure. And the gay community doesn’t feel that they need to be cured since there’s nothing wrong with being gay. I tend to agree with them, of course, on that part. And I understand their fears. You think that conversion therapy is a big deal, imagine if doctors could spot a “gay gene” in utero and how it would impact things.

“Have you tried… *not *being a mutant ?”

What are the ICD and DSM codes for Tea Partyism?

No point in developing a diagnostic for it when you can’t fix stupid.

Who is he gonna sue? God, for making them that way?

It’s too complicated to nail down a “gay gene” but see if we could ID some sort of gay genetic marker, then the people who want to imprison, torture and kill gays are also the people who would strap women down and force them to carry their fetuses to full term. What a conundrum! I guess they’d have to give birth to gay babies, and then kill them.

What’s that Dubya always used to call Rove? Turd Blossom? Seems like he had one word too many there …

What a bizarre take on things. I particularly love the repeated meme that “Obama voted against raising the debt ceiling in 2006 … he’s such a hypocrite for being on the other side now!” Right-wing media says it, feeble-minded listeners/readers repeat it. I hear it at work all the time. Because there’s absolutely NO DIFFERENCE between a political, symbolic vote against something you know is going to pass and having the critical mass to actually shutdown the government and possibly force a default. They are EXACTLY EQUAL. Yeah, suuuuuure.

I still wonder about the long-term plan, if there was one, of the Obamacare defunders. Let’s say Ted Cruz put ecstasy in the water pitchers in the Senate, and the House bill that defunded the ACA actually passed. It goes to Obama’s desk. Is he going to sign that into law? How about no frickin’ way? So he vetoes it, it goes back to Congress. Is there a two-thirds vote there to override that veto? Again, no frickin’ way. So we’re right exactly where we ended up. There is no possible outcome that has that bill becoming law. None. (Well, maybe having Ted Cruz dress up in an Obama Halloween costume, sneaking into the White House, and forging Obama’s signature on the bill, but I think that’s somewhat far-fetched.)

So … what was the plan? Getting legislators on record as to how they voted? Making sure their names were associated with pro- or anti-Obamacare? Maybe … SETTING UP A SYMBOLIC VOTE for campaigning purposes? Isn’t that exactly what these blowhards are excoriating Obama for doing back in 2006?

Oh, snap, Tea Party! You guys are JUST LIKE OBAMA!!!11!!!1!!

Here’s the plan, see? First shutdown the government and cause a default, see? The default causes economic collapse and widespread unrest, see? Patriots in their trucks storm the Whitehouse and shoot the black Muslim terrorists, see? Well armed patriot groups across the country take control and bring freedom to the people by killing the homos and raping the lezzies, see? Cruz seizes the nukular codes and gives them to Bachman, who presses the button to bring true her promise of “the end of days,” see?

Can’t you see it? Don’t you want it? Aren’t you a Christian?

You left out “Why do you hate America?”

Oops, my bad.

Really, this should end any debate on if the Tea Party is a hate group, but unfortunately America will likely still refuse to treat them like the KKK, as they deserve. The idiot republicans are STILL going to insist “Oh, they only care about low taxes!”, and I guess think the subjugation of minorities is to them are “non-issue”.
