Stupid Republican idea of the day

I would like to see the contorted reasoning he used to reach this conclusion.

Fred was endorsing McCain over his primary challenger, J.D. Hayworth. So while it’s not surprising that he is supporting McCain, it’s not so obvious as you make it out to be were it really a choice between McCain and a Democrat. Hayworth is much more conservative than McCain and, for instance, virtually every conservative talk radio host has backed Hayworth.

McCain is doing well now in the polls after being virtually even in November, but still has a hard fight for a long term senator and the most recent presidential nominee of his party. Having a tough challenger far to his right is almost certainly the reason for McCain’s blatant hypocrisy on repealing DADT, for instance.

Yeah, you can, but you’d be scorned for making up such stupid shit. I sometimes think the Republican party is one big performance art troupe and we’re just not in on the joke.

Truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) Helps Democrats Break GOP Filibuster on Jobs Bill

Poor Brown, now he’ll be primaried on the right, just like John McCain.
Oh dear, it turns out Scott Brown Is A Homosexual Communist, AND A TRAITOR!!!

Slightly NSFW link: Scott Brown Is A Homosexual Communist - by Jim Newell

Brown’s Facebook page is hilarious right now.

“A common Progressive!”? No better than he should be, then? A bit of a legislut, perhaps?

Would that progressives were indeed common.

We’re working on it! Even now, I would say the odds are really good we can make changes before the pig-people destroy the world. Well, pretty good. About even. But we’re gaining on 'em!

Squink, I separated your link into a non-parsed url. The image it goes to is just the other side of work appropriate.

I figured that since you couldn’t actually see any naughty bits…
Anway, fair call on your part.

MAY-un. The butthurt is strong with his followers, isn’t it? The comment left by a Mr. King just defies belief. I won’t quote it here in case it’s a violation of TOS, but his sentiment is that by reaching out to the Dems, Senator Brown is supporting Marxism and fucking our country over. He then begs for jobs for MA only.

Now the Senator’s going to find out who his real supporters are, huh?

How can anybody look at the Facebook page and not reach the conclusion that Repubs are a bunch of lunatics?

Well, one thing’s for sure. His constituents aren’t southern, redneck teabaggers. They’re Massachusetts liberals. Brown is proving Tip O’Neill’s maxim once again: all poliics is local. Brown’s not looking to please Alabama.

Wait a minute, he still has the truck, right?

It’s amazing how petty and stupid these people are.

I can’t get over the bile they are seething with because he voted for a jobs bill.

They think they’re in a cosmic battle of good vs. evil. There can be no compromise. There is only black and white, and they operate on a one-drop rule.

It’s pretty apparant to me that the more zealous on the right may want what’s best for the country, but they sure as shit don’t want it to be the Democrats who come up with it. Five sane republicans voted for the jobs bill. All the others voted against it, while at the same time pissing and moaning that nobody is doing anything about creating jobs.

Yeah, yeah … I’ll get the whole, “This isn’t the way to do it, what we really need is corporate deregulation and tax cuts for the wealthy — that’s the way to create jobs.”

But when all is said and done, it’s just a “look at what my party did” attitude.

I was reminded of this when I flipped past O’Reilly the other day and the one line I heard from him was this: “Bad news for Global Warning.” And he went on to address some report or another that argues against the rate of glacier melting or something.

“Bad news for Global Warming?” Who the fuck is *rooting *for Global Warming? The left wants to *address *Global Warming; the right wants to ignore it – or poo-poo it as a mark against the people who want to do something about it.

Politics in this country is retarded. Yeah, I said it. Retarded.

Look, hippy, do you have any evidence of Jesus voting for a “jobs” bill? I don’t think, so!

-Joe

Please tell me your comma placement was intentional.

Yeah, it’s right next to the evidence for Jesus being the son of God. Aw Snap!
