While Glenn Beck acknowledging that he was a divisive force is rather astounding, it’s not stupid.
I’m sure what he meant was that he regret dividing the GOP by attacking Republicans. Until I see him say a good word about Obama, he’s still a shithead
Yes, I was not sure this was the right thread for this but I did not think it warranted its own thread.
And I was lazy…
He said “the country”, not the GOP, and as the article notes he’s expressed similar (mild) contrition before.
Emphasis on the story’s qualification for “Stupid Republican Idea of the Day” added.
Yeah, remember that Beck and Rush and all the other nasty RWNJs on TV/radio always say that they are entertainers, not serious political commentators. (That’s why they don’t need to worry about “facts” – or so they say.)
Anyway, Beck was just funnin’ around at Fox News, being all funny and entertaining, you know?
It was fun for Glenn Beck and it was fun for Jon Stewart!
I think the stupid part is his thinking anyone will believe he regrets it.
You know, it’s not the number of stupid people in the GOP that get me, it’s the number of people who won’t even make the effort to be informed about things like the use of hormonal contraception to control dysmenorrhea and similar conditions, completely outside of their use as birth control. READ A FUCKING BOOK, REPUBLICANS! Jeez…
And give in to that evil invention of the Devil?
The Republican Brain. (The problem is not that they don’t have brains, it’s that they won’t use them.)
Tony Perkins (Family Research Council) says the campus sexual assault problem is…
… there are 50 colleges with coed dorm rooms?
Rape - a republican platform pillar.
I think perhaps Mr. Perkins is confusing educational institutions with those ahem “educational” “institutions” with which he is more personally familiar, where of course the “dorms” are always (or, usually) “coed” for the duration of “instruction,” generally a half hour’s up to one hour’s residency.
If it ain’t in the Bible, just sayin’…
You have to pray it away, or else "it’s og’s will, or “it’s your mortal duty to suffer” - something like that
$20 says Mr. Perkins is only interested in non-coed hourly “educational institutions”, if you know what I mean.
You have to wonder if Republicans realize women can vote. Maybe somebody should remind them?
Oh, I think they’ll be reminded come Election Day.
Bwahahaha!
