This is particularly stupid because it happened 25 YEARS ago.
Like, who cares?
Apparently though “This is a secret that devastated my life and my family’s life.” according to the the former teenage girl (who is now 40) She needs to get a grip too.
But the real stupid here is the fact that the numbnuts Rep paid this woman $150,000.00 back in 2002 to shut up about it.
Really.
They all deserve each other IMO.

I think this is a clever plot intended to convince us that not all Republicans are closeted gays.

I don’t think it is necessary for him to specifically denounce sex with minors to fairly tag him with hypocrisy with regard to sexual morality. His position is clear.

Well, I think Fear Itself’s post shows the guy can certainly be identified as a part of the “Moral Majority”, but I agree with you. I don’t give a shit either that he did this 25 years ago. (I wouldn’t actually care much if it was last year to be honest) which is what makes it so splendidly stupid that he resigned and even stupider that he paid the former girl in question $150grand to shut up (which she obviously didn’t). And she gets a stupid award too for claiming that “This is a secret that devastated my life and my family’s life.” I mean, really, dwell on inconsequential things much, lady?
