Stupid Republican idea of the day

Well, Duncan Hunter wants to deport all US-born children (or to apply another word, “citizens”) whose parents are illegals.

Stupid 14th amendment!

Oops, thanks.

Any chance he’ll run?

Why not extend that to grandparents, and great-grandparents, and great-great grandparents?

Just out of curiosity, because my knowledge of history sucks, at what point did people coming over to the US from other countries have to apply for the privilege? That is, when in our history did people’s parents become illegals?

No idea. I don’t have an ear on the ground in Florida, unfortunately. I really do hope (as an outsider) that he’ll run at some point, probably not this year, but maybe in a few cycles. Having Grayson and Franken in the Senate would make hearings popcorn/lawn chair time.

Bugger off!

Grayson’s my Representative. I like him where he is, thank you very much. It’s unlikely that the very purple Florida would elect two Democratic Senators anyway, and Bill Nelson brings home way too much bacon to lose his seat.

Besides, Grayson’s busy.

This just in:

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer cliams that her state is under terrorist attacks because of all the undocumented immigrants coming in from Mexico and beyond. Go figure.

The former half-term governor of Alaska has compared the hacking of her e-mail account to the Watergate scandal. You betcha!

Once again, a Republican congressman tries to take credit for provisions in a law that he voted against. Meet John Boehner (R - Boner).

With all the other immigration talk going on I think we missed adding Ted Poe® comparing immigrants to grass hoppers and Pat Bertroche® saying we should microchip immigrants like we do dogs.

What is with the Republican party and their apparently widely held beliefs that human beings should be treated like animals.

Not all human beings. Just brown ones.

Only the brown ones.

ETA: Kolga beat me to it.

I love that he tries to take credit for things in the bill while explaining how he’s going to try and repeal it.

In case it wasn’t in the previous 1500 posts…

DRILL, BABY, DRILL!

On the plus side, Pat Bertroche is only a canidate in a primary. We have not been insane enough to elect him to anything … yet.

Good grief, Squink. Did it ever occur to you that the bill got blocked because it was a bad piece of legislation? Nah - you’ve drunk the Kool-Aide.

Is that idea that you’re suggesting the Stupid Republican idea of the day?

It’s HIS Stupid Republican Idea of the Day…er, hour.

Feeling generous, I see. Someone musta got some last night.

-Joe

Not since Nixon was president. That stuff fogs the mind.
How about yourself, still getting flashbacks from the glory days of “Mission Accomplished”?

I wonder sometimes what it must be like to be Clothahump. To see the world as a muddled, confusing barrage that only Glen Beck’s shrill scream can cut through.

I think I’d by a pissy little bitch if I saw everything like that too.
