Stupid Republican idea of the day

And this just in: Republicans forthrightly and courageously pass a Seinfeld Bill, about nothing!

**
GOP Offers Birth Control Bill That Literally Does Nothing**

Bold move, guys! Shirley, this will blunt any effect on women’s opinion about Republicans groveling and pandering to their tight-ass base! Just wait for those poll numbers to soar!

Not doing anything means they aren’t doing any harm, which probably disqualifies that bill for SRIOTD purposes. Anyway, that bill allows them to claim the moral high ground among the really stupid portion of the electorate by claiming they were willing to compromise.

I almost feel bad picking on Todd Akin again, but he brings it on himself. Says he was misinterpreted by the media, just like another misunderstood politician with noble intent…Sen. Joe McCarthy.

I’d be more worried about the spread of brain-eating Gingreyne.

From the article:

WND (Wing Nut, er World Net Daily) has a book division? Do they provide a pack of crayons with each volume?

For the readers or the authors?

Yes. The 8-color pack, because any more choices confuses their poor fuzzy brains.

mmmmm, brains.

The only color they really need is white, anyway.

Reporter: Did you know this was a bus full of YMCA kids?

Probable next Representative from the great state of Arizona: They were sad, too.

:smack:

Kids from Latvia. Everybody sad.

Every time I think they’ve reached the bottom, they sink even lower. What a bunch of scumbags.

I remember a decade ago, everything the administration did was so ridiculous, after a while we just got weary of it. “Outrage fatigue”. But these Rs and TBs, they feed on it. They never seem to get tired if being angry, it just makes them angrier. They are like piquophiles or something.

Shhhh … no one point out this was posted in a 15,000+ SRIotD thread.

I don’t know; I’m reminded of a line from a movie “at some point it was so off-the-chart bad it just got funny.”

Rep Meadows wants to know why Obamacare makes him pay for things he’ll never need, like maternity care. Badgers pregnant doctor about it.

P.S., I believe he has two children. But he never needed maternity care because fuck his wife.

I think we’ve discovered a connection!

Perhaps Rep. Gingrey should be more worried about the current mess at the CDC in Atlanta. They misshandled anthrax and bird flu.

Someone missed a golden opportunity to ask him why his prostate exam should be covered. Especially when he can apparently eyeball that bad boy all by himself.

Even though his head is conveniently located, the intestinal wall blocks direct visual inspection.

It’s all good. He’s pro-life.

He is lucky, the rest of us have to ask the hamster.
