Stupid Republican idea of the day

But wait, there’s more. She thinks “what women most want is more time, including ‘more time in the morning to get ready.’”

She’s been well trained.

Speaking as a guy, I want more time in the morning to get ready. I still won’t be ready, but I’ll have more time to sleep. Cool with that.

Sleep? Uhm, no. Morning sex, thankyouverymuch.

You’re welcome! And afterwards I’ll explain all these difficult political concepts to you, pretty eyes. Don’t worry, I’ll use small words and domestic metaphors so you can understand things. And then you can make me breakfast.

Uh-uh-uh, honeycakes. You know how we feel about birth control, hmm ? Didn’t we agree you should hold it between your knees ? That’s a good girl.

GOP politician in Arizona tries to score some points on Twitter over migrant children. He takes pictures of the bus and describes the “fear on their faces”. Amusingly, this was a bus full of YMCA campers.

The fear might have been real.

Bob Frey of “Sperm Causes AIDS” fame expounds further on his scientimifical larnin’:

Aw, come on, cut the guy some clack. 2004 was a very different time, way back at the very dawn of our scientific understanding of human-dinosaur interaction. Hell, Jurassic Park III had only been out three years by then.

:smack:
Arizona state congressman (and national congressional candidate) Adam Kwasman ** intercepted a bus full of migrant children** in Phoenix Tuesday, tweeting, “Bus coming in. This is not compassion. This is the abrogation of the rule of law.” Or so he thought. Kwasman was caught short when Arizona Central reporter Brahm Resnik informed him the bus he lamented was actually full of YMCA campers, who another reporter said were “laughing and taking pictures of the media.”

You were ninja’d 4 posts up.

At lest the fear part might be real. After all, they were face to face with a Republican pol.
Edit: I seem to have been ninja’ed on this. Dang.

If you check out the politician’s website, you can see that he’s endorsed by Joe Arpaio. That tells you just about all you need to know about his politics and his intelligence, i think.

Of course that’s what they’re going to *say *- did you expect them to just 'fess up they were illegals? “Oh, we’re campers from the YMCA.” Think I was born yesterday, Chester?

I want birth certificates! Long form birth certificates!

Young man, are you living in fear?
I said, young man, with Republicans near?
I said, young man, into your bus they peer
Just to claim you’re so unhappy.

Just point and laugh at the D. O. R. K.

Is this real life?

No, it’s just fantasy.

I feel as though I’m trapped in some sort of natural disaster, with no form of exit.

Whoa! That is so, like, existential!

Rep. Phil Gingrey, (R-GA), is worried illegal aliens might spread ebola virus and small pox in America..

Ebola virus does not exist outside of sub-saharan Africa, and smallpox was officially eradicated worldwide thirty five years ago. :smack:
