Prolly because it’s difficult to convince a jury that coordinated conspiratorial criminal conduct is responsible when the defense has gotten so good at saying “Oops; our bad. It was an accident. Sorry.” while they laugh behind their teeth.
If you accidentally get someone killed due to some negligence, you can still be prosecuted, albeit for a lesser crime. I find it disheartening to think that they can’t charge the Michigan Republican party for something. Ignorance of the law, accidents, and an intern’s mistakes should still not be enough to get them off the hook :mad:
