Stupid Republican idea of the day

Barton is a pimp. He could never have outfellated Cornyn. But I didn’t know until this day that it was Boehner all along.

It is completely natural for a giant oil company to drill a hole 10,000 ft into the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, thus releasing millions of gallons of oil into the ecosystem. Happens all the time.

Umm… did he claim that the IRS was making us all buy Health Insurance?

You can send my new keyboard and monitor to…

But with this GOP fellating competition, of course there had to be a Boehner involved!

You have to pay extra to the IRS unless you buy a health insurance policy. There’s a lot of stupid in that ad but that really isn’t it.

Though not as much as whatever Boehner uses to turn his skin orange.

Rubs himself on Hulk Hogan.

What the hell is going on? Twice in one week O’Reilly is the voice of reason in the land of Stupid Ideas.

Granted, appearing more sane than Palin and Bachmann isn’t hard to do but I gotta give credit where credit is due.

Has Michael Steele been in hiding lately? I have not seen him on the news saying anything stupid for weeks.

Nope, not at all. The last one I saw basically had him saying that Obama isn’t allowed to play golf or baseball or go on vacation until the oil spill is all fixed up.

He’s been silent, however, on Hayward’s taking a break to go watch his yacht race back in Jolleye Olde Englande. Because, as we all know, corporations (and particularly those who run them) are blameless, holy creatures.

“Now watch this drive” - Vacationer in Chief, 2002.

Today’s nominee: Congressman Steve King (R-Racist)

http://thinkprogress.org/2010/06/21/king-immigration-plan-deport/

Steve King isn’t stupid. He’s just a cock.

You could use that excuse for almost all of their stupid ideas. We’re not stupid we’re just evil.

Ask and ye shall receive:

STEELE: George Bush created a lot of jobs.

HAINES: Beg your pardon?

STEELE: I think there were jobs created in the eight years that George Bush was in office.

HAINES: No I’m sorry, you’re mistaken. […]

STEELE: I think jobs were created. I’m almost confident about that. And I think the markets reflect that. […]

HAINES: So, did the Lehman blow up and all, that didn’t happen on Bush’s watch? … You were talking about the markets. The markets tanked. […]

King deserves no defense, but I think this exchange with a questioner at the anti-immigrant rally was illustrative of how insane teabaggers have GOP politicians by the balls right now:

A completely, off-the-wall, nutbag question that King is forced to field seriously because this is where the Party base is at these days.

It’s OK, because I’ve heard that if you’re just bringing small quantities of Muslims in, it’s just a misdemeanor, 'cause they can’t actually get you for trafficking.

If you have, like, a whole bunch of Muslims in foil wrappers in your suitcase, that’s a different matter.

You know he could do something crazy himself, he could say the question is nuts and doesn’t deserve the dignity of being taken seriously. Nah.

King? He’s one of the ones that’s totally down with the mouthbagging.
