John Thompson … John Thompson … sounds familiar. Was he a past chairman of the RNC?
Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) outs himself as Birther:
Bear in mind that Vitter replaced David Duke in the Louisiana legislature, and it doesn’t seem that surprising.
Rep. Sen. Kyl wants the Bush tax cuts for the rich to be renewed. He also resists commensurate cutbacks to pay for it. Now he wants cuts in Social Security, because THAT contributes to the debt. Does he not know it has its own funding? Some of these guys should be broomed for blatant stupidity. But, we know who he works for ,don’t we? Still pandering to the wealthy.
“…thank you, Herr Ubermensch, may I have another?”
Speaking of which, the Republicans are having another bad Herr day. Stay classy, America!
Do any of you know people who think like this? Do you take them seriously?
I think it should stay up for the pure irony factor involved. Preying on the fearful and naive? Isn’t that an official plank in the Teabagger platform?
No, and it’s racist of you to say so.
That’s the official plank!
Do you think we should all start holding our breath until the Usual Suspects come in and vent their utter outrage, like they did if some no-name blogger or poster contest entrant even suggested a Bush/Hitler similarity, before using the example to make broad brush statements about those who hold similar views?
No. Me neither.
You know what would be awesome? If we can get a really, truly crazy leftist motherfucker elected as President next. You know, just to see who the Teabaggers compare him to.
I can’t imagine who would fit that bill. My first thought was Jerry Brown, but he’s not crazy enough or left enough.
Are there any really crazy leftists left – people who don’t believe in private property and such? Could we even come up with a politician who would advocate nationalization of all major industries or public ownership of all significant capital and natural resources?
No, but I bet Glenn Beck can.
Only because we’re crippled by a silly, old-fashioned adherence to facts and he’s not.
Perhaps Hugo Chavez will turn out to have been an anchor baby born in Arizona.
Is there also a Bulwer-Lytton award for speculative history?
Is Cynthia “the feds should reopen Tupac’s murder case” McKinney still in politics? Now that there is a truly crazy leftist motherfucker.
I think she ran on a Green Party ticket a while ago. And the most recent I’ve heard about her was that she was on an aid flotilla to Gaza (not the one with the Mavi Mamara that was boarded, an earlier one).
She was the Green Party’s nominee for President in 2008. That’s when I left the party, since her selection by them was final proof that the party didn’t even take itself seriously, much less shoot for being taken seriously by anyone else.
In addition to demanding that the U.S. government demand the release of all documents pertaining the Tupac Shakur case, she also claimed that National Guardsmen shot and killed 5000 people and buried in the swamps outside New Orleans during the week of Katrina.
Like I said - that’s one truly crazy leftist.
It’s all the left wings media’s fault. Them reporting what he said is obviously a conspiracy.
