Apparently, Boehner’s definition of “the American people” includes sloppy oil companies, Wall street bankers out to steal my last dime, and pharma and insurance companies who view human suffering as nothing more than an easy way to make a buck, not that there’s anything wrong with making a buck.

Some of them sense fighting the financial regulation law, the health care legislation and claiming Bp should be apologized to is a tough sell. So they want to have no platform at all. It seems about right unless voting in a bloc against every democratic move could be seen as a platform.

Somebody asked Pete Sessions how Republicans would cut the deficit, and his response was a bunch of generic banalities and circular answers like, “we’ll balance the budget” and “eliminate waste”. Nothing spectacular, but worth a chuckle.
How can we go back to the exact same agenda as that found in a new report? At what point in time were we implementing this agenda?
