I can see where someone *might *be concerned over a perceived loophole in regards to transgender status. What would stop someone, a heterosexual male for example, from going into the women’s restroom or women’s locker room of a gym and claiming they were transgender? However, until that happens, or until it’s a regular occurrence/problem, his Frank Artiles should probably focus on more pertinent issues.
I’m assuming this guy is arguing that this could happen with regards to non-passable trans people. In his example, wouldn’t women be just as vulnerable to sexual harassment/assault by a transgender male in the woman’s locker room? Wouldn’t transgender women be vulnerable to sexual harassment/assault if they were forced to use the men’s restroom?
I would like adaher to comment on how taxpayer funding of professional sports stadiums is justified by conservative free market principles.

Sadly, my high school offered AP courses (history and math IIRC) a year after my graduation (to be fair, US HS history class taught me a lot about racism–courtesy of my redneck classmate’s disguised questions). But the college course in US history made up for it by teaching me to hate America and all that it stands for.

In fairness to Walker, whom I loathe, the state will “only” borrow $200 million towards the new Bucks arena. The $300 million taken away from the university (over two years) will not go directly to the arena.
There are pie in the sky estimates of some additional $10 million per year tax revenues due to the arena. Those “revenues” are supposed to fund the bond repayments. I call B… S… on that. Problem is, Walker will have moved on by the time we know for sure.
More of that $300 MM will likely go to Walker’s contributors in the highway construction industry and tax breaks for millionaires.
With one on the track Alabama is happy to keep chugging along.
