When confronted with real bigotry, the best you can do is hide behind the imaginary “Both Sides Do It Equally Law”. I don’t give a flying fuck what excuses they may or may not give-either those Sacks of Senatorial Shits are bigots, or they are not. What say you?
But not that there Cath-lick bible. Nosiree! One written in English, like Jesus spoke himself!
What, the Catholic Bible is in English? Neveryoumind.
Yeah, but they have that whole “Apocrypha” added. And they call some books by different names
Franklin Graham was ranting about all of Obama’s Muslim advisers. When asked to name them, he couldn’t come up with any names, but he knows they’re there!
This is like McCarthy holding a list of names of Communists in the State Department.
Some more about the Tom Schweich story…
The Post-Dispatch has a little more detail in an article here. It repeats what Tom Messenger said in his column yesterday about Schweich wanting to talk to Messenger about his belief that Republican leaders were spreading rumors about his religion. The new article adds that Schweich had also been in contact with the local Anti-Defamation League office about the issue.
Schweich alleged that the whisper campaign was organized by state party chairman John Hancock. Hancock denies the allegations in an odd email you can read here (scroll down). I say Hancock’s email is “odd” because he says he “until recently” believed Schweich was Jewish and that he may have mentioned it to others. But then he talks about having spent the “past several months” trying to dispel “untrue rumors” about himself. Naturally, in the course of the email, Hancock blames the liberal media for using this to smear the Republican party.
Anyway, the good folks over at The American Spectator are Just Asking Questions about the case.
“Not entirely analogous”? Ya think?
Scott Walker’s barebones budget for Wisconsin universities has a provision in it saying that colleges no longer need to report on-campus sexual assaults to the Department of Justice.
Ok that’s not even stupid, that’s veering straight into flat what. Like, maybe you can try to, but I don’t even.
Yes. It is exactly that. Your evil is their good.
I can’t decide if this is dumber than Scott Walker’s claim that ISIS would respect him because of the way he stood up to public employee unions earlier in his term as governor.
Well, yeah. We just need those girls on campus to learn some morals and start dressing more modestly, so that those sexual assaults will stop happening. Burkas might be a good place to start. And summary execution for dishonoring the family ought to cut down on (reports of) assaults.
Republicans fail to get anything passed (including the bi-partisan Senate bill) to avoid a DHS shutdown. Way to go, Republicans!
All they need to do is to carry a gun with them at all times.
On Walker’s equating protesters with ISIS

I’ll vote for the grannies.
His quote:
Boehner can’t even get his own bill passed. Is he fucked sideways now?
Now?
Boehner hasn’t been able to control his caucus for years now. And no one else can either. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.
In what ways will a DHS shutdown be bad for (most of) us?
ISIS is going to come storming across the Canadian border any minute.
Into Montana? That will be fun to watch.
