Went to the dog park, ended up being there for over 3 hours.
Don’t know what was up today but every dog wanted to play with Ripple, at one point he had 4 dogs (a chihuahua mix, a lab puppy, a rottie, and a 100+ pound pitbull puppy) on him.
He kept hiding under the table. I wanted to leave sooner, but I knew it would be a pain getting him out of the park.
The chihuahua and the lab pup would not stop humping him. He tried to play a little with the rottie, but the other two wouldn’t leave him alone. The pitbull and Ripple have played before, so they are pretty good together even though the difference in sizes makes it awkward.
All the dogs left except the lab puppy and we had a hard time getting out because the puppy would not leave him alone, and Ripple was starting to get grumpy.
I got slammed into by a great dane, I’m surprised I was still on my feet. He wanted to play with Ripple too, but they couldn’t figure out how to make it work.
Ripple doesn’t like to run or play tag, he wants to wrestle all the time.
One day he was playing with a husky who liked to run. We were laughing at them because of the mismatch of styles, I said it was like putting a sprinter in the ring with a belly bucker.
FCM I have talked with several young people who are very upset that they have been at their jobs for 6 months and still haven’t received a raise or a promotion. They feel like they are not being appreciated. I actually had one woman complain to me that her boss didn’t care about her well-being because he wouldn’t fire the obnoxious co-worker. News Flash - all your boss cares about is that the work is getting done, your happiness or lack thereof is meaningless. I didn’t say it, but I thought she was very lucky that she still had a job.
I guess it takes some people longer than others to figure out that you are nothing more than a cog in the wheel and nobody gives a damn about your happiness.
**MetalMouse **- I hate buzz words about as much as I hate ass kissing. and, you can plan all you want, but life doesn’t always work according to plan, and I think it doesn’t do anybody any good to feed their delusion that they actually have some kind of control over their life.
Butters - yes I am and I cannot wait for classes to be over.
Then he has to find a job for reals.
He said to me, how much money do I need to make to help you out. I said the idea is not to help me out, it is to take care of yourself after I am gone.
I have no idea how he has no ambition.
Then again, he works really hard on his school irk, so maybe once he gets a job, ambition will kick in.
Making ham and broccoli for my dinner, tacos for my son.
I need to do some weeding.
