Definitely not the last.
Letting Kyle know is probably the worst thing Clark has done.
An alcoholic adulterer with a persecution complex is NOT going to keep that secret. I’m hoping for Kryptonian mind-wipe powers to come into effect ::chuckle::.
And theres NO WAY the son could have gotten that device into Army headquarters. He should have been scanned six ways to sunday before they let him in. But… plot, I guess.
And I love the legal ramifications for Sara.
Wasn’t he “Fred Johnson” on The Expanse?
I’m wondering if Kyle is going to die before he can reveal the secret, maybe in whatever the season-ending battle is.
Unless he lives to tell Lex Luthor, which wouldn’t surprise me…
Are we thinking that Kyle is going to become a super villain? Or may just a regular run-of-the-mill villain? That doesn’t seem to be in his character. He’s a bit of a fuckup, sure, but going from here to full-on villany is rather a giant leap.
I anticipate seeing Clark seducing Kyle to perform this super-hypnotism.
Let’s not bring up the “Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex” issues again :).
Meant to mention this last week: Junior says: “Somebody saved us!” giving me a huge Smallville flashback.
This week was good, though when mysterious shaking and power outages are going on, postponing surgery is a good idea.
Countdown to Kyle drunkenly revealing Supes’ secret - let’s say 1.75 episodes
Is the cancer storyline over? What else is there for Supes to do, aside from taking care of the resurrected Bizarro?
Yeah, you’d think the surgeon would be able to make that call.
When Lana went to get Kyle to talk with Sarah, I hope they left her with her grandmother. She definitely shouldn’t have been left by herself, or worse, with her sister.
Wonder if Jonathan can rejoin the firehouse crew now. (I’m presuming that Kyle knows he doesn’t have powers. My husband, who is Andy L, thinks that Clark may have told Kyle that he saved the kids, but without the suit because he doesn’t want people to connect him with Smallville too much.) Anyway, the way Jonathan was calmly helping Jordan in the hospital thinks he might be a good first responder.
Yes, and also Cutty on The Wire. Came by his criminal mastermind credentials honestly.
I won’t take those odds
Good, good episode. Tied up the plotlines nicely, realistic-in-a-storyline way, and some good acting. I liked the brothers supporting each other, although I would have thought there’d be more physical closeness because they are twins - like holding his head or something.
I’ve really liked this season so far.
And I think the waitress job is so that she can accidentally overhear something, and get in even more trouble.
If Kyle reveals the secret, I think it might be to…Sophie. (Or maybe Sophie will overhear Jordan/Sarah/the rest of the teens talking.)
Also, I’m wondering when the other shoe is going to drop about the former mayor. He told Lana not to use the money for mold remediation, and was really upset about the idea. At some point, we should find out what the problem is.
It was also interesting to recall the fact that both Jordan and Sarah have emotional issues of long-standing; Jonathan clearly remembers techniques he learned before they moved to Smallville, and Kyle and Lana remember that Sarah tried to kill herself.
I agree! They’re actually remembering important plot points that were brought up TWO WHOLE SEASONS AGO. And acting on them! Who could have ever guessed!
On a smaller scale, and shorter time frame, the waitressing job that Sarah got was available only because Candace (Jonathan’s girlfriend) previously had it and the latter moved away a few episodes ago.
Yeah, I noticed that
I’m guessing Lex Luthor was secretly penpals with Sophie all along and her entire family will be shocked to learn she still exists.
I’m intrigued by your ideas, and I’d like to subscribe to your newsletter.
There will be a season 4, but only 10 episodes, but only Lois, Supes, and the boys are staying on as series regulars.
