Survivor 5/14

Well, he also went from having a 50% chance of beating Spencer in the final immunity challenge to 75%, because Trish would likely not have had a fighting chance. That’s significant, and is a decent long play.

Interesting. I was thinking “man, I hope Trish realizes that Tony threw her under the bus” both by 1) not saving her with an Idol and 2) voting her out, but figured she’d be too dumb to figure it out. Will be interesting to see if the others manage to make her realize it and turn on Tony.

I think it shows their thinking though - the jury does not like Tony manipulating everything. Sarah, Tasha and Morgan obviously don’t like him. LJ probably feels betrayed (‘Tony took me out because he thought I was going after him, which I wasn’t’). Jefra probably feels the same (even though, unlike LJ, she did actually flirt with flipping). I don’t think he’ll get the votes, even though he’s played a pretty strong game running things and getting people to do his bidding. I’m not sure if the “it was all part of the game” argument can overcome their dislike for him.

I’d like Spencer to win, but I’d really like to see a Tony/Kass/Woo showdown to really see how the jury approaches this one with two unlikeable but otherwise very good players.

Agree. And agree.

Kass said on twitter that Trish was smack talking Kass’s family members and that’s why she flipped her the bird upon leaving.

Was Trish smack talking her family during the TC, or away from it? If it was during the TC, then at least the jury got to see it.

I was thinking that Kass was in the right the whole time - I mean, Trish threatened her with physical bodily harm. That’s a big no-no in my book. Of course, that was at camp, where the jury wouldn’t get to see it.

Kass tweeted that it happened during TC and that the jury heard everything, but it wasn’t aired.

I’m skeptical about Trish trash-talking Kass’ family. This is Kass claiming it, remember.

My guess is that Trish said something like “What a horrible person you are; I feel sorry for your family.”

Three tribals councils were teased in the previews this weekend. I am pretty sure that means a final Two.

Which means Spencer has an additional hurdle to jump to make the FTC.

Probst did an AMA on Reddit today, and was asked about Final 2 or Final 3:

It’s a final two tribal council. Interesting. That IS a big hurdle for both Spencer and Tony to leap, and I think it’s clear to each of them that Kass and Woo would benefit by taking each other to the end. Which will mean one of the worst endings in recent memory, because neither “deserves” it. Blerg.
