I rarely play favorites, but Parvati is the best player remaining, and has been the best player in the game all along. She has been a target several times and fought them all off. She is strategic, athletic, and social. One of the best players all-time, maybe the best.
I was spoiled (in the comments of Jeff Probst’s own blog!) so I’m not voting.
I’m hoping for a Sandra win - Parvati has too much of Russhole’s stench wafting around her. But boy, I sure hope Russell whimpers & pouts again.
I just don’t like the way they’re promoting this episode-- Russel against the 4 others. Each of the 5 people left, except maybe Colby, fought tough and hard to get there. Russell isn’t anything special.

I’m so glad I didn’t watch this entire season - it just would have pissed me off. So many of my favorite players were taken out early that I didn’t realize were on this season.

I thought this season was filmed *before *the live finale of Russell’s previous season? How did Russell already know that he hadn’t won in Samoa?

That’s what I was thinking, but I think he just can tell he’s not going to be the winner based on the jury. I assume if he had won, they would have edited it out.
Well, looks like Russell has once again made it to the end only to fall drastically short in the social game.
In one of the confessionals he said that in Samoa he took two people to the final that he thought were weak, and that he thought he could easily beat because they wouldn’t get any votes, but that that strategy didn’t work. How’d he know it didn’t work?

Yes, he should NOT have known that he lost the Survivor: Samoa season. During last season’s reunion, he was extremely despondent that he win that season.
I wonder if they asked him to do two “takes”. One saying that he won, one saying that he didn’t.

He’s being an idiot at the reunion and should just be more laid back about the whole thing.
Someone needs to get him to understand that “getting to the end of the game” =/= “winning Survivor”. He keeps missing that part.
If he gets asked back for Season 30, we’ll see if he learned anything.
